During the pick days the restaurant is unable to accommodate all the customers do to the limited sitting capacity. * Food is the major source of revenue, 70% of all sells, 25% wine and liquor, 5% dessert and coffees. * Average customer spends around 40 dollars and this number is down from 50 dollars in last two years due to economy slow down. * 30% of customers are returning on regular basis, the 70% are tourist and business travelers from hotel across the street. * Most of the customers come from middle class, with no specific age group, or race, they value good, freshly made food as main reason for coming back, as well as fair price and good service.
Throughout the film a lot of images of obese people are shown. Spurlock shows images of overweight people at the beach, sitting at tables eating, walking around, employees working at fast food restaurants and the people who are interviewed on the street. These images are effective in sparking a conversation on obesity because they show the epidemic in reality instead of just talking about it. It is almost painful to watch these people go about their daily lives. These pictures demonstrate what the viewers of the documentary could look like if they keep consuming food provided by these fast food restaurants.
Imagine pulling into the parking lot of Walmart. Its a really busy day and the lot is almost full, but wait you see a spot, so you go racing over to get it before someone else can. Start to pull in but you cant because someone was to lazy to put the shopping cart up. So now i have to get out of my car to move the cart. I cant stand for shopping carts to be left in the parking lot.
Jerrica Fair English 101 September 16, 2012 As citizens of Arizona, I believe we all know how serious border patrol has become when we travel to other states or venture down south to Mexico. With that being said, I have traveled to California numerous times but during the summer of 2010 it seemed that if it weren’t for bad luck I would have no luck at all. That year, traveling to San Diego took our weekend trips to a whole new level. How could a trip that had so many memorable experiences like staying on an army base, touring a ship with all kinds of old planes and relaxing on a beach turn into one of those trips you’d rather forget about? Well, the answer to that would be having your vehicle break down on the way there and on the way
Trip to Tigers Stadium Baseball is America’s pastime. It is a child’s dream come true to go to their first Major League Baseball game. My dad, my brothers, Dylan and Dustin, and I piled into the car at 8 in the morning headed for Detroit on 96-East. It was July 7th, 1999, and I was seven years old. I knew it was going to be a hot day because at eight in the morning it was already unbearable to sit in the car.
I was afraid of heights, so at one time I told my parents that I was too scare to do it, but I had no choice because the tickets was already bought. On the day of the flight my family woke up at 6:00am and we were out the door at 7:00am. We have already packed 3 days ahead of times so that I knew I wasn’t missing anything as we head to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, located seven kilometers (4.3 miles) to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, and is the largest airport in the country. The ride that I had to get there has to be the longest ride I have been on. When I was on the car ride to the Airport it felt like time had slowed down and it was torturing me for how long it took to get there.
Still in disbelief, I started to make my run for the front set of stairs hoping it would be a quick way out. Boy was I wrong. This staircase was packed with people doubling the amounts you’d see in front of Wal-Mart on Black Friday. I had a better chance finding my way out of a labyrinth than I did making it to the first floor. Nonetheless, I made my way into the sea of people and started heading
I peeped out of cabin to have a look at the city winds and moods. The ferry was fully crowded like a pack of huge elephants. But all I wanted to see was the beautiful view of Manhattan ready to greet me on this important day. The pack of people made it hard to look, squashed and cramped between people I was. The smell of some other people was also as bad as eating rotten eggs, tired to get fresh air but it was difficult due to the heavy load of people all around.
Having a family of five with kids ranging from ages 1 to 11 it is not easy to choose a restaurant that everybody will like something. As a family we look for different things, well as an adult we look for more important criteria. First, how is the service, how long the wait is going to be, we look at is it clean, what type of foods do they offer and is it good? Second, how much is it going to hit the financial budget and how do they compare to the other restaurants? Finally, and most importantly, what type of kids menu do they offer?
