Harry Potter and The Davinci Code may be very entertaining books since one focuses on the supernatural and the other religion, but neither books talk about past, “deep” history. Two books that do go back to historical facts are Night and When the Emperor Was Divine. The New York Times has said that the novel, Night, was “A slim volume of terrifying power.” The Los Angeles Times has also said that, When the Emperor Was Divine, is, “a gentle, understated novel…has more power than any other I have read about this time.” Both reviews express that the two novels express some type of strong emotion that impacts the readers and also the reviewers.

Miracle means something that defines the laws of science or nature, for example it could defy gravity, in which case someone could drop something then it could float in the air. I think that Jesus did not perform Miracles, instead he just performed illusions because I don't really believe in Miracles, instead he probably just performed illusions, like magic or medical wonders. He sometimes did medical miracles, but he was probably just ahead of his time and knew more cures, so if he did it now he wouldn't be classified as a miracle now but back then it would be a miracle to them, of course he could have maybe saved the paralysed man but it could have been a coincidence, but then again the bible could have just lied about it to get more people to believe and worship Jesus and Christianity.

I’ve been watching The Boondocks since it started in 2005 and this show defines me because of its comedic way of telling the truth about society. With my views about the media I really don’t like to believe “the hype” or any of the publicity stunts that go on too often. Sometimes I think the government is full of conspiracies and I find it easy to point out irony, and hypocrisy like Huey. He even took a stand against B.E.T.

The more widely known religions focusing basically on a creator that made the universe for whatever reason and may or may not interact within the universe. Regardless or religious belief, they all have a founder and places they consider holy to the religion. From my first glance of scientology, I feel that it is an ecclesia and will read more about it. While scientology is not considered a religion on this table, I feel it still lacks things other religions have and believe also that things it claims are facts have been claimed to be wrong through science.
