After answering all those questions I will be reading a lot about that specific area and take notes, interview people who have knowledge about what I am writing, do a research about it and above all get advice from my professor. Writing is a lifelong practice and it can be a challenge for someone who just starts to learn about it. I believe the biggest challenge for me will be to understand what the audience expects from my paper and adjust the content
According to the Institute of Educational Science, writing skills are important for primary school students continued learning in all academic areas, communication and self-expression (Polisena, 2014). It is owing to this understanding that in the mid 1990’s there was a change in the way writing was taught. Educators moved away from the whole-language approach of teaching writing and moved towards a more balanced approach that incorporated the purpose, content and values of a text, as well as introducing a student-cantered focus (Flint, Kitson, Lowe & Shaw, 2014). A balanced approach uses engaging activities that cover all aspects of writing; such as handwriting, spelling, grammar, reading and creating texts for a specific purpose and genre (New
In determining the strengths of this design there are several that should be elaborated upon. The greatest strength of the design is the training program, which starts at the top and trains management, who then train their respective employees or sections. This type of training is text book and is generally regarded as an appropriate and effective means of training the workforce on a new task. It is also important to train the managers first so that they retain or gain respect from their employees/teams pertaining to their competence on the subject matter. The next aspect of the design program, which is considered a strength is the implementation of each wing at a time.
Reflective Journal 1: My Experiences with Persuasive Writing Address these criteria: 1. Describe experiences you have had with persuasive writing (writing to convince). I use persuasive writing in many areas of my life, starting with writing a resume, convincing the hiring manager that I am the best person for the job with much experience, education, knowledge, and dedication. Another area I use persuasive writing is writing papers for my college classes, convincing the professor that I have learned the topic at hand. 2.
A student can use writing as a learning experience as well; by using the material obtained to ask worthwhile questions, explain details to readers, and get feedback from the material. This allows a student to obtain maturity and flexibility, as well as, evaluate the adequacy of details or information being presented in the writing. Writing is also a vital job skill in the professional world. In every career path an employee is expected to create some kind of note, memo, email, or report; all of these require effective communication. In most professions, individuals start at entry level positions and based on their job performance, their position expands.

My Experiences as a Writer I have several experiences a writer. Most of these experiences are from my life as a student and from my working career. As an adult I used what I learned and applied it to my professional and everyday life.
This essay will attempt to demonstrate the progress I have made, as a student, in improving my learning techniques, adopting new and efficient approaches and ultimately reflecting and evaluating my discipline as a student of higher education. My aim is to highlight and illustrate the qualities and skills I have, and the qualities and skills I have learned to make me a successful prospective practitioner. Boud ((1981, p.8) believes, “We are faced with the reality that most people seeking higher education have learned only the skills of learning by being taught. They do not know how to diagnose their own needs for learning, for formulating their own learning objectives, identifying a variety of learning resources and planning strategies for taking the initiative in using those resources and assessing their own learning.” I disagree with this opinion, if an individual has enrolled in higher education; then he orshe must have placed a significant amount of time and effort to have been rewarded with this opportunity. Through my experiences in further education I have realized, one cannot complete the course to their potential if they do not possess the majority of the skills that Boud highlightsOne of the many problems that has arisen and challenged me concerning my pursuit of education is boredom.
I have chosen to pursue a nursing career from an initial passion to pursue medicine. I also know that the health care fields are static, in that they will always be needed, and dynamic due to the constant evolutions in providing patient care. I did some research and I found the need both immediate and future to be quite great, in addition to numerous opportunities and settings in which to practice. I also like that there are many advanced practice nursing degrees that provide even more autonomy and specialization. I also feel that there is not only medical help that patients ask for from nurses but attention, care and sympathy which I feel that I could distribute.
A successful teacher of beginning readers develop comprehension skills and helps to expose them to wide range of texts to build background knowledge. (Professional Development) In teaching reading a teacher must also teach many skills from decoding to vocabulary. Most importantly, a good reading teacher generates excitement and appreciation for reading. Learning to read is a hierarchical process, each skill building upon another. For example, learning to decode followed by fluency is the first step followed by independent reading, reading with absorption, and ending with critical reading.
