'The events in Moshe's life made him into a good leader.' Moshe is one of the most famous leaders of the Jewish people. He had many useful qualities, such as empathy and confidence. He may have picked these up as his life progressed. However, he also might have picked up a few negative qualities, such as impatience. This essay will discuss whether his life taught him good leadership qualities or bad leadership qualities. Moshe was raised as royalty, which gave him good leadership qualities. He was taken in by Pharaoh's daughter at a very young age and raised as her own son. This may have given him good leadership qualities, as being royalty might have given him the confidence good leaders need. Additionally, being raised in the royal courts, taught him about politics and about how to behave around Egyptian nobility. This helped him with handling Pharaoh, as well as giving him the skills to deal with people who challenged his power. Being raised as an outsider gave him empathy. Because he was an outsider and was probably looked down on by the Egyptian nobility, he could understand what it felt like for the Israelites to be treated as less than human. This meant that he could understand the type of nurturing leadership that they needed. Moshe always got what he wanted, when he wanted it while growing up because he was raised as a prince. Because of this he didn't have the patience to do things, and hit the rock when he shouldn't have, which lead to dire consequences. In conclusion, while he learned negative and positive qualities in his life, I believe he learned more positive qualities than negative qualities in his lifetime, as he lead the Jewish people for over 40 years and Hashem chose him to be leader, which means he must have been an amazing
