I took the Meyers-Briggs Assessment on the HumanMetrics website link provided and am kind of surprised at the results, and yet I am not surprised, at the same time. My results are ISFP with percentages Introvert (44%), Sensing (25%), Feeling (38%), and Perceiving (11%). I have a moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion, a moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition, a moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking, and a slight preference of Perceiving over Judging. On other occasions, the same individual may be aloof and detached.” I don’t know if I am charming, but I do get the sense that, at times I am irritating to some. I do not hand out compliments off handedly though; I am very intentional when it comes to complimenting people, and I do look for reasons to encourage those in my life, I just don’t “over-do” it. I also can be aloof and do detach myself from time to time in order to recharge. Butts goes on to say that, “Some ISFP males are fiercely competitive, especially in sport or table games, and may have great difficulty losing. ISFPs will practice playing an instrument or honing a favored skill for hours on end, not so much as practice as for the joy of the experience.” Again, I agree with his assessment of the ISFP personality type, to a degree. I went to college after graduating high school and did, in fact, drop out. I had a hard time with the amount of organization needed to succeed. I then went to a technical/vocational school instead, which was great because part of the training was hands on. At the age of 35, after being married for a number of years and having three children in under four years time span, I went back to college and succeeded. I believe that this was due to the fact that I matured and gained the necessary skills I needed and I really set my mind that I would graduate with a degree instead of a
