To find a need of the people for a particular product or service and expand on it in order to make a profit is what many entrepreneurs do to start their company. A perfect example is the formation of Five Guys Burgers and Fries by the Murrell family. Their desire to focus on providing the consumer with quality burgers and fries have led them to be very successful in a short amount of time. This paper will determine how Five Guys’ philosophy sets it apart from other fast-food chains.

Kudler Fine Foods is an upscale food store specializing in foods and services that appeal to a niche market; gourmet chefs and gourmet chefs in training. The firm had good initial success with its first two stores, but its third store is suffering with lower than expected sales. The firm wishes to continue expansion and increase profitable growth. Before moving forward the company’s owner, Kathy Kudler, needs to understand her company fully and have accurate knowledge about the firm’s internal and external environment.

The history, development, and growth of the company over time First, I will discuss how Whole Foods was developed and its history. John Mackey, entrepreneurial history began with a single store which has now grown to the nation’s leading natural food chain. Whole Foods represent a healthy, socially responsible lifestyle that customers can identify with. The company set itself aside from competitors by focusing on quality as excellence and innovation that allows them to charge a premium price for premium products. For the last 39 years this strategy has allowed them to be successful.
Fast food industries, among others, use stroking, a form of positive reinforcement, deliberate praise, and recognition, as a way of “handling” employees and getting them to do exactly what they want. However, additional techniques and strategies are used depending on age and the chain. KFC and Taco Bell are both under the YUM brand company. These fast food chains serve different types of food, but are the tactics different as well? At KFC, a 15-year-old part-time employee somehow manages to work over 40 hours a week.
As an exit ticket, Mrs. Calvin instructed the students to choose one structure; tell whether it was found on plant cell, animal cell, or both; and tell its function. Everyone knows the slogan “Mickey D’s” you can't possibly drive by a 'golden arches' without having to stop. With the backup of sponsorship’s and integrated campaigns like the Olympics, movies, foundations and the infamous “I’m Lovin’ it” ads are all marketing tactics to better the business. By combining fundamentally sound operational practices with innovative marketing strategies, Ray Kroc (McDonald's originator) laid the foundation for McDonald's global success.
The last disadvantage I think will be a problem to the Dodge Clinic is employees seeking employment elsewhere because they do not feel there job is secure. You may have employees quit and go work for the competition because they feel that they are not valued enough. That can cause a chain reaction and a lot of other employees will
