A Marketing Audit is a comprehensive, systematic, independent, and periodic analysis that a company uses to examine its position in relation to its current and potential market(s). A marketing audit may also exhibit weaknesses and recognize opportunities to improve an organization marketing activities in selling products and services. A Marketing Audit will help a company to position products and services for optimum sales, evaluate the competitive environment, identify problems with marketing efforts, evaluate pricing strategy, and implement cost-effective marketing strategies and tactics. I will also use primary and secondary data to draw my conclusions and at this point I will conduct a SWOT analysis to determine the internal and external strengths and weaknesses of the Downtown Health Clinic, during Week Four. The fifth and last component of the Marketing Audit is the Conclusion. It contains a summary of all audit elements and offers my final recommendation to the organization management after I have reviewed and analyzed all the pieces of information and data obtained during research.
