They are commonly found in trees, caves, and the ground and near limestone cliffs. During the day they have a tendency to hide in logs, crevices, and caves. The average size of the Brown Tree snake is between 3 & 6 feet in length. The largest snake recorded was 9.8 feet long in an unrecorded area. Although their venom isn’t not lethal to humans it is used to subdue and kill the prey, and they are also known to strangle their prey to death like the Boa Constrictor snakes.
Other researchers think some people were trying to breed Snakeheads as they bring a large amount of money in some areas. (Frankenfish.com). The Northern Snakehead is a major predator, as it has no enemies. It has the ability to wipe out populations of native fish. “Frankenfish” entire diet mostly contains other fish, as well as plants and insects.
The pots were about 3 feet 6 inches and contained two to three dozen good size crayfish weighing about two several pounds. The men said it was about one hundred and fifteen to three hundred feet long. Another eyewitness saw a great white shark the size of a tractor trailer had attacked a person. Many sharks have been clocked out as fast as 1.5 miles and the mega shark could probably swim in a longer distance since this is a bigger shark. Two percent of the ocean has been overlooked by people ant it leaves ninety-eight percent of the ocean for the megladon can swim.
Widely published data of specimens that were reported to have been even several feet longer are not verified. [5] There are dwarf forms on Java, Bali and Sulawesi. On Bali they reach an average length of 2 metres (6.6 ft),[9] and on Sulawesi they achieve a maximum of 2.5 metres (8.2 ft). [10] Geographic range and habitat[edit] Natural Distribution of the Burmese Python (green). The Burmese Python are found throughout Southern- and Southeast Asia, including Eastern India, Nepal, western Bhutan, southeastern Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, northern continental Malaysia, far southern China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi and Yunnan),[11] Hong Kong, and in Indonesia on Java, southern Sulawesi, Bali and Sumbawa.
Dino ACROCANTHOSAURUS: (ak-ro-KANTH-o-sawr-us) "High-spined Lizard" (Greek akro- = high akantha = spine + sauros = lizard, refering to the spines on its vertebrae) A CARNOSAUR of Early Creataceous North America. This 40 foot (12m) meat-eating relative of ALLOSAURUS walked on two legs. It had a large head with sharp, sawlike TEETH. Projections up to 17 inches (43 cm) long grew on its vertebarae. These SPINES were probably embedded in a thick ridge of muscle.
Cave Lion 5. Chalicotherium The cave lion (Panthera leo spelaea) was probably the biggest lion that ever lived. It was 25 percent bigger than lions today and was up to about 11.5 ft (3.5 m) long. was an early, herbivorous mammal from the Miocene. This forest browser was an ungulate with large, clawed feet (instead of hooves).
Fully modern skeletons of people termed “The Cro-Magnons” had used tools of bone. Bone was easily shaped into needles, fishhooks, spoons, and most significant; bows and arrows that go along with weapons. They invented weapons, nets and lines for catching food such as fish. The Cro-Magnons somehow used their far superior technology, and brains to infect, kill or displace the Neanderthals leaving no evidence of hybridification or anything between the two. Humans then expanded over the whole continent and adapted to its diverse habitats.
It is a big lizard because it grows to a length of 18 to 24 inches. Gila monsters are in the Heloderma species. They live in Nevada, Arizona, California, Utah, Texas and New Mexico. They run from 4 meters a minute to 15 meters a minute. They are also diurnal.
It is the deadliest shark known to man and has been accounted for the most caused deaths. Hammerhead- this shark is easily recognized because of its hammer shape like head. The hammerhead shark has this type of head because they have all of their sensory organs in their head. Reef sharks- this sharks is referred to as the black tip shark because of its black fins. The mountain lion is a large cat that is also known as a cougar, panther, yellow cat, puma, and several other names (Danz, 1999, p.13). Shoulder heights average around 30 inches and length is approximately eight feet (“Mountain Lion”, 2014). The tail is about one-third of the entire body length and these cats typically weigh between 75 and 175 pounds (“Mountain Lion”, 2014). However, the largest mountain lion weighed 276 pounds and was killed near Hillside, Arizona (Danz, 1999, p.44). The legs of the cat are very muscular and the back legs are much longer than the front, allowing the cats to increase their leaping abilities (Knight, 2005).
