The assessment gives my strengths as listening, teamwork, reliability and follow-through and my weaknesses as oversensitive, slow to begin action, and poor at goal setting. I definitely agree with these strengths and weaknesses. I can be oversensitive and sometimes it puts me at a disadvantage because people think they can take advantage of me and my kind-heartedness. I tend to be understanding even if there is an issue with progress within the team. Within reason, I like to forgive and give second chances to team members who do not meet expectations the first time around. This is usually well received by people I interact with, in a team setting.

The employees feel that they are important and serve a purpose. By management allowing their employees to be a part of the decision making process, they are giving the employees a sense of worth. If you ask for input on employee’s opinions you are showing them that you care about what they think. This gives them a higher feeling of self-worth, otherwise known as self-reliance. The employees enjoy their work and are aware of the set goal.
Management accepts employees that follow the rules and do their job the way that management says to. * Expert Power: Employees listen and follow managers that have knowledge and that are experts in their fields. This helps employees do their jobs efficiently and effectively. Also having a manager with these special skills will make an employee follow the advice that is given to them. * Referent Power: Many employees have tried to emulate a manager because they respect and admire that manager.
She has a clear understanding of different leadership styles and is able to adopt a different approach if called for by a certain situation. The only criticism that could be highlighted from this study is that on some occasions she tries a little bit too hard to be ‘everyone’s friend’. It is an excellent quality to be able to keep everyone happy in their work, but if a situation arose where a real hard message had to be given to one of the team, or one of the support staff had to be disciplined, the Inclusion Manager would find it difficult. Traits of a Good Employee An ideal employee is respected by others and is also the one whose career path is the most planned and focused. These are the same qualities that employers search for in an employee. These qualities can sometimes determine an individual’s worth within an organization. It can be a challenge for employees to maintain many of these qualities and apply them on a daily basis. An ideal employee displays a variety of traits that will likely make them more successful.
