A1: Description of four different examples of accidents and/or sudden illnesses that might occur. A client could get sunstroke on a hot day from lack of shade and or hydration. A client could get injured falling over/tripping possibly causing damage to themselfes. If a client has an ongoing problem such as epilepsy the client could have a fit/siezure and get injured. A client may have an unknown allergy and could get ill from eating or drinking something. A2 Outline of the procedure to follow if an accident or sudden illness should occur. First the care worker should assess the situation and figure out if professional medical attention is necessary, if so ring 999. if the situation does not require the emergency services such as a scratch or graze then deal with the situation as is necessary, once the situation is dealt with contact line manager/on call and inform them of what has happened, when in a suitable place document all that has happened so that you have it on record.
