Jeremy Benguma Professor Amir Sharifi ESL 53C April 18, 2014 Bowers Museum During my weekend, on Saturday March 8th, 2014, I spent the whole day, with my aunt, who volunteered as a tour guide, at the Bowers Museum. She helps out by answering questions, and explaining about cultural artifacts, to young high school students. So that is when I got the idea, to do up a profile about the Bowers Museum. The Bowers Museum is located in Santa Ana, Orange County, California. The museum was named after Charles Bowers, a late 1800s Orange County land developer, who donated the land on which it stands to the City of Santa Ana.

Every now and then I would build it better than it was before, similar to the job description of a doctor. This year as a senior, I am one of the five students from Warren East High School to attend a medical nursing aid program at Warren County Area Technology Center. This program focuses and emphasizes the medical field mainly through hands on training. I am lucky to have not paid for this class because I took it in High School, but this opened my eyes to see that one class like this would cost me around five hundred dollars but it is so rewarding towards my future at the end. I am also president of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) club and I strive to be a leader in my class as well as my community.
As a Brahma Tech student at Diamond Bar high school, I am required to complete a 150 hour summer internship which relates to Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics. So, as I was searching for an internship, I found one through the help of my father’s friend who knows a business that would hire interns. This business is named Sunland Groups which does Real Estate Development and Construction. In order to prepare for my internship, I have asked my parents and my sister for some advice so I would do great in my internship. In my internship, I have gained experience, I have gained working skills, and it affected my life.
Module 1 Discussion High School Speech It has been twelve years since I graduated High School; however, sometimes I wish I was still sitting in the bleachers and actually paying attention to the speeches that were presented to me. I would like to share you a few lessons that I have learned over the years. Two weeks after my graduation, I decided to join the United States Navy. This decision was based on the fact that the Navy offered me a College Fund and the opportunity to travel the world. To put this into perspective, the day I left for boot camp was the first time I boarded an airplane.
My First Job I moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the last two months of my senior year. I moved there so that I could graduate from high school on time. My aunt graciously invited me to live with her family. After registering for school, my next priority was finding a job-- any job! I started the search!
