A Car and A Church Flannery O’ Connor’s novel Wise Blood (1952) is the story of a very confused man named Hazel Motes who lives in Taulkinham, Tennessee. Hazel has recently been let go from the military due to his injuries. During Hazel’s time spent in the military, he is told that he does not have a soul and believes this assumption. His grandfather was a preacher who taught Christianity from the hood of his car and also traveled. Hazel later creates his own church after he witnessed a blind man preaching about Christianity in the streets.

Pete Tarnish was an outstanding teacher who was able to communicate well with his students, care deeply about them, and be a great family man. My eighth grade science and math teacher, Mr. Tarnish, was the most enjoyable teacher I have ever had. Unlike numerous teachers, he made class fun. He had a nonconventional matter of teaching that made his students yearn for more knowledge. He had the ability to relate complex science material into our daily lives.

They have been married for 52 years and they continue to show me and my brothers what real love and dedication is. My mom had a brain aneurysm that left her paralyzed on the left side and minimal brain issues. My dad is her sole care giver. I think they are more in love with each other today than when they first married.
He graduated from the University of Texas College. He has a huge family from what I know of because they all attend the same church as me but he really couldn’t tell me about his family size. We talked for about two hours because I really learned a lot myself from Petey. Im going to tell you all he told me about, even from when he was little, because its an interesting story. Petey was born in Tyler, Texas where he was the only kid.

Vernon coming from a poor family didn’t graduate high school but Vernon could read and write but couldn’t spell his own name. Gladys Love Smith also came from a poor family, two months after the couple met they lied about their ages and borrowed the three dollars and got married. Vernon was known as a job hopper.

Which consist of his great grandmother and father, great great grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles and cousins. There religious background is Christian. Donnell attends daycare from 6am to 6pm. Donnell is very aggressive, doesn’t share and don’t get along with children because he has no children in the household with him.
