If I Could Fly however never made anything and Satriani was seeking damages for “any and all profits”. The shared similarity between the two songs is during the chorus of, If I Could Fly and the verse of Viva La Vida. During Satriani’s chorus, you can hear a guitar riff of what Satriani and many devoted fans agree is the part Coldplay stole. The chord progression of the guitar riff is Em7- A- D- Bm which is played in the key of D major, while the vocally harmonic verse in Viva La Vida is played over Db- Eb7- Ab- Fm in the key of Ab. Wether you’re musically minded or not, these look to be completely different sounds, but diatonically, they do in fact share a similar melody.
Fox 1 How To Change Strings On an Acoustic Guitar About twenty years ago my father got me an acoustic guitar for my sixth birthday. He taught me three chords on the guitar which opened up my mind to and fingers to a playground on the fret board. After playing non-stop for hours days on end, I noticed my strings became dull and started to break. I soon realized I had to learn how to change the strings on my guitar. When my father showed me the steps to do so, I saw clearly that changing strings on an acoustic guitar is essential to the way it performs.

Significantly, within his musical career, he developed his own distinctive style and sound which cannot be compared to the music of today. Dylan’s primary objective was not to entertain and bring rise his own fame, but his poetical power in speech and song gave meaning to the beautiful and tragic events of the early twentieth century which shaped our country. The cold Minnesota wind in the town of Hibbing, Duluth was heavily filled with rock and roll as well as rhythm and blues. Robert Allen Zimmerman was his birth name and he had taught himself the basics of the guitar and the harmonica. After attending the University of Minneapolis, he found his true pride in American folk music while having read an autobiography called, Bound for Glory (Dylan Influences).
His first musical inspirations were by such talents as: Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Little Richard. He formed several bands in high school like Shadow Blasters which was short-lived, but his next band, The Golden Chords, lasted longer and played covers of popular songs. After Dylan graduated from high school, he joined University of Minnesota in early 1959. University was where the thought of becoming a musical artist formed. Dylan begun to listen to folk and rock pioneers: Hank Williams, Robert Johnson and Woody Guthrie.
Book Review of Life By Keith Richards Life by Keith Richards is an autobiography about the life of the famous rock and roll guitarist. It goes over his whole life, from his childhood in Dartmoor, to meeting Mick Jagger in art college, starting up as a blues band, releasing their first album, his various drug addictions, and much more during his 50 years (and counting) in the Rolling Stones. The book itself starts with a scenario of when he was about twenty years old, and it was the first time the Rolling Stones toured the U.S.A. He had been stopped by the police for suspected drug use, and what the police didn't find (for which he could have been jailed for life) was all the other drugs that had been hidden in the car, under seats, in the glove compartment, and generally hidden around the car. He starts off with this to explain how incredibly lucky he was during his life, with the police and also with his life.
