The entertainment media and culture have an interrelationship between the two. If the culture change, the entertainment media needs to change to keep up with the change in culture. I know there have been many shows on the televisions and even movies that have displayed the culture of times in them. Many people may have been influenced by these shows and movies because they can relate to either the lifestyles or even the action of the people. Visual media has shaped the American culture and all its values in many ways. One way is that a average American spends most of the time watching TV. The values of visual media influence people to act differently all due to what they see on the television screen or in the movies. Celebrities can have a huge impact on a persons lifestyle. I believe that a lot of people can learn a lot from visual media especially if they just moved to America from another country, or where they are able to watch movies at to have an idea of how things are done in America. Visual influence is not always a bad. There are learning videos out there that can help teach a person only if they are used properly. An example is the Little Einstein videos that baby's and toddlers can watch. I used them with my own daughter when she was little. We use to sit and watch them together and I asked her questions about what she saw on the screen. If we were doing Nursery Numbers I would ask her what number came next so she would get to understand her numbers. These movies only work if you actually sit down with your child and teach them. They got bad reviews because most parents would use them as a “babysitter” while they did things around the house. Like I previously stated they only work if you sit down with your child(ren) and do it with him. In conclusion the visual media does influence social behavior and attitude. A lot of people like
