From the time period of 1870 to 1900 the growth of big businesses in the United States had a major impact on the economy, politics, and the response of Americans of Americans to these changes. These businesses grew significantly in number, size, and influence and had an ever-lasting effect on Americans and their surrounding community. Industry and its new technologies have had an amazing impact on reducing the costs of the goods necessary to life, such as food prices, fuel and lighting prices, and the cost of living (Document A). The standard of living of most Americans should have increased, as more wages would be left over to spend on luxuries. Aware of the extra-money available to working families, the different pieces of a Big Business have acted in such a way to suck that extra-money from the poor families.

Also, entering in such a massive global war would spur the American economy and help it grow tremendously. And provide and massive industrial boom as American factories would pump out massive amounts of war supplies including machine guns, Army uniforms, and artillery pieces to name a few.
Rivalry The rivalry in the search based advertising market is intense because it is quite a huge market generating $450 billion earnings worldwide. The demand in this market is high and is constantly growing. Google experiences major profits in this market because of its auction methodology. Google’s stated goal is to “organize the world’s information” (Google, 2008), and to merit they have created many complimentary products to their main Internet search service. Google has the largest Market share in this industry and this helps them to improve the quality of their search results and targeted ads more quickly than their competitors.
Throughout the three readings that I read and analyzed, there were many important aspects and statements that were very informative and influential. Immigration in this country has been one of the main contributors throughout the years of economical advancement and prosperity. However, over time, due to the rising numbers of immigrants in this country, it has caused a wide variety of intimidation and anxiety for North American citizens. Immigrants wanting to come and make a better life for themselves and their families has become overwhelming for some people that are currently established here. In Rutenberg’s article, he stated that Fox news main goal is to increase their viewers no matter what than other TV stations, such as CNN, for instance. Because of this goal that they want to accomplish, they decided to add some tabloids in order to make the stories even more interesting. There is a saying that implicates the TV news actions, “Putting in more oil to make the fire even bigger than it was before,” meaning that TV news tend to add in more unnecessary issues in the story, just to make it more interesting for the audience. The competitions between the stations are gradually increasing, which means the more deception will occur. Fox also mention that if they were to give both sides of the story, then they will eventually losing touch between the two righteous and wrongness.
Diversity is a very proud term representing the United States as a melting pot containing many different races in a country. As Caucasians always is the biggest group of the population, but the other difference races has been growing fast such as Hispanic and Asian and these two groups will grow twice as many by 2050 (Kelly & McGowan, 2012 p.12). Diversity change will shift way of living, spending, working style from location to location depend on the change. The changes would impact the investment direction of companies because location, race, living style, spending habit and power of work force. Therefore, companies would have to recalculate on their future investment strategy.
However, more recently there has been a lot of tension between patriotic Britons and Muslims which has led to a lot of anti-Islamic propaganda among the British public. One might ask what the reasons are for this media and campaign portrayal. And are they justifiable? This topic was chosen in light of the tensions building from 9/11, the London Underground Bombings and the Iraq war as well as the more recent murder of British soldier, Lee Rigby, by two Muslim extremists which led to a wave of anti-Muslim propaganda across not only Britain but around the world. Due to the controversy that could be caused by this topic sources from patriotic Britons, Muslims and the media will be used to avoid bias and create balanced and well formulated argument.
Now hip artist, their music and their clothing lines are known world wide. This notoriety has helped to pump millions of dollars into the economy. Research has shown that Hip Hop has a major impact on the economy. Many major corporations who once shunned the idea of hip hop as a mainstream music genre have now jumped on the band wagon and have embraced the idea of using hip hop artists and their music in their advertisements as a way to draw in money from those loyal followers. Hip Hop music and its culture has crossed cultural, racial, geographical, and religious lines around the world.
