Managing my time for school was another challenge I overcame, it always seemed like I was not going to have time to get everything done. Completing Exp 105 was the best class for me because it helps teach me time management.
The second reason I felt returning to school to be so essential was so my family may become more financially stable. The third reason I decided to return to school is so that my children will learn from my example that school is essential to a successful life and very nurturing to ones soul. Returning to school when you have children can be very difficult, especially when you have four ranging from ages 14 all the way down to two. My decision to return to school was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. I have the most wonderful children in the world.
Between school and your sport there aren’t enough hours in the day to work on scholarly duties like a normal student does. Being a student athlete is like having a part time job, which is why I believe that student athletes should be paid. Student athletes have a lot on their plate. They have to balance their studies along with their sport. Both require a great deal of commitment that must be given at an equal level.
Going to school to better my education is quite expensive and time consuming. Yes, there is financial aid to take advantage of that will cover books, printer products, basic school supplies and gas for transportation. This applies only for community college, however once I transfer to receive my bachelors’ degree I will have to apply for school loans or hope for academic scholarships. Putting my life and my children’s life on hold for the next four years was a big financial decision for me to make. When I decided to further my education I decided to put employment on hold and focus on my family and school.
It’s a good thing that you can get help when you live in poverty. Kids need to go to school to grow up with knowledge of the social world. If the children didn’t went to school, they would not be able to live a normal life and maybe get a job and work hard to get money. They must learn to for example read in order to get a job later in life. As the text says: “I think that our kids are going to have a lot harder time than we’ve had” which is a scary thing, because if they must have it harder than their parents who are already living on $11 then it ends with the children living in more poverty than parents.
Most people go to school to get a job or career that pays more money. I am one of those people. I know that going back to school will help me out financially. Financial aid is another reason why I decided to attend Ashford University. It has helped me with the debt that I had prior to returning to school.
The educational maintenance allowance gave payments to students from low-income backgrounds to encourage them to stay in education after 16 to gain better qualifications. This was because after completing their GCSEs working class pupils went straight to work as they were unable to afford their parents rent, bills etc. Bonuses were given to those who achieved good results however, this was means tested and so, the amount of money children had received was hugely dependant on
The students who are agonizing the financial difficulties have to search for a job to pay for their collage or support their families. Observably, it is very durable to be focused on both employment and study fields. So, it is very clear that financial expense is the one of the particular reason why college students give up their college education. Most of the high school students admit in a college by thinking of that a college life would be more unrestricted and preferable than their high school lives with parents. Also, they have a conjoint believe that
Certainly, working two jobs makes focusing on school more difficult, which is why I plan to resign my position at the Children’s Museum. The Honors Program will greatly assist my financial needs and require my dedication and concentration. This is my educational quest. I will let no obstacle stand in the way of conquering my goals. A goal is the destination of a journey; my life has plenty.
Those that get lucky and have a support group tent to make it to the end in order to receive their diploma or certificate and attain a better paying job. What I have learned after doing research and watching the videos provided, my perspective changed only towards the government. The government is somewhat at fault for generational poverty. They know that the schools offer education based on their resources and if schools in these areas aren’t offered enough resources they cannot provide a quality education for those kids. They claim that without a quality education, generational poverty will never cease.
