I doubt that future societies will get on with him any better. The entire purpose of society is to create a bulwark against the inner and the outer chaos, in order to make life bearable and to keep the human race alive. And it is absolutely inevitable that when a tradition has been evolved, whatever the tradition is, the people, in general, will suppose it to have existed from before the beginning of time and will be most unwilling and indeed unable to conceive of any changes in it. They do not know how they will live without those traditions that have given them their identity. Their reaction, when it is suggested that they can or that they must, is panic.
I believe if we were to send the immigrants home where they belong and bring back, or even create new jobs, there would be less unemployment .We could get the economy back where we are living comfortably. The world would be in a better position other then where we are right now. Unemployment would not be a big factor in society today. Welfare would not be turning people away, saying sorry we can not give you any assistance. Where is this leaving Americans today?
Anti- terrorist and de-radicalization programs are designed to help people with radical thoughts to think otherwise. So many cases have proved that these programs will work and I believe so too. I hope that one day people wont have to struggle with this and it is eliminated , so our world could be a completely different world, a safer world and America as well to live
I don’t want anything jeopardizing my success so if I happen to meet someone with the same goals or mind frame it could work, but if not, I will have to wait until I feel I am ready to settle down. I don’t want to just prove to my family that I succeeded… I want to prove it to myself that I made it. Nothing is better than living your American Dream and having that feeling of succeeding. You just feel like the happiest person on earth. You feel like you’re unstoppable and like everything you have worked towards is finally falling into place.
The kicker to it all though is we cannot depend on the government to take the stand, but we must make the stand for ourselves. In our society now, we have deemed so many things necessary to our lives that we by no means require. These things are not for me to decide and definitely should be out of the government’s realm of control. It is up to us the body of this nation to decide personally what we are willing to sacrifice the preserve this way of life, the way of life being the freedoms that we all take for granted. Anything that we can do without and produce for ourselves will not only strengthen our country, but will also help our children and grandchildren live out the same pleasures we have been able to enjoy.
It's very important for us to take care of our own, without helping those who are in need here, we are doing a disservice to our own people. I would argue that our society would have the ability to do both. We don't need to be the policemen of all of the world's problems, but we do need to make sure we are making the world a better place. All politicians campaign on the notion that we are using our military, power, and wealth to create a better place for all and what better way to let this be shown then by helping those who are less fortunate in foreign countries. I feel our government and fellow citizens can do much more to help.
We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps its fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist. And should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!
Social change refers to the shift in the characteristics of culture and society (Henslin 2010). One way in which society was changed was through the words of Martin Luther King “Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: / we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”(MlK1963). While it has been said that Martin Luther King Jr. did not make the Civil Rights Movement but rather that the Civil Rights Movement made him, it is believed to be true that without Martin Luther King Jr.
We did not take no for an answer, we spread the word and demanded a voice for our nation. Without this struggle, who knows where we would be today. Right away the people knew America was not suppose to be a hierarchical system, and we made sure it was not and never going to be. For that, I am forever grateful to live in a democracy that stresses
I really believe that America can change the world. Being an American means you can do whatever you want in life. You can be from a doctor to an architect to even a garbage man no one will judge you everybody will accept you for what you are. Being an American means a lot more then you think. Being a patriot and being very supportive of your county that’s
