Especially since there is a lot of reading, having the ability to color coat my reading can be extremely beneficial especially when reviewing before an exam. However, If I do not implement any techniques the only person I am hurting is myself. The “Engage College Reading” text book is giving me tools so I can be successful throughout my college
It helps me visualize what I am reading and helps me connect to whatever I am reading. I t also allows me to involve my feelings, curiosity and a way to escape from life’s distractions. Students should be able to, 1) determine the purpose of the reading and 2) formulate a plan and chose a reading technique. II. Determine the purpose of the reading A.
