How to make Mediterranean Rice The rice my mother constantly uses is called Basmati rice. It was introduced to the Middle East by Indian traders; and was customarily found in North India. Basmati rice is very healthy for the body and it contains all eight vital amino acids. The equipment you will need to arrange for the making of the rice are: a good sized pot, two same sized plain bowls, and one regular sized spoon. The ingredients you will need are: two chicken broths, salt, vegetable oil, and rice. The equipment listed above are for four people, but it all depends on how many people you will be serving. If you are serving more than four people you might want to double the recipe. The first thing you will need to do is fill up a full bowl of rice. Set apart four to five scoops of vermicelli using a regular dinner spoon, and then open the two tablets of chicken broth. This next step is where you will begin to use the things you have set aside. Pour six to seven spoons of vegetable oil into your pot and turn the heat on. Begin to add the vermicelli and stir until they are golden brown. When stirring be very cautious because vermicelli burns easily. While the vermicelli is on the heat, fill up two and a half bowls of hot water from your kitchen sink or from your ideal water. For every bowl of rice, you would use two and a half bowls of hot water. The bowls you use to fill your hot water with must be the same size as the bowl you used to fill up your rice. After the vermicelli turned into a golden brown color, pour the two and a half bowls of hot water into the pot. Next, add the two chicken broths. Make sure throughout this phase of cooking your heat is set between medium and low. Stir all the ingredients that were added so the chicken broths dissolve into the water. After the broths have been dissolved, taste the liquid and add salt
