This classic novel principally focuses on the relationship that grows between Mame and Patrick, her nephew. Mame, irrespective of her free spirited nature, appears to be committed to raising the orphaned child following appointment by her brother as the legal guardian. This commitment is evident from the very first time she meets Patrick. She is regretful for hosting a party prior to Patrick’s arrival as shown from her outburst “But why didn’t you tell me you were coming today? I’d never have been giving this party” (10).

His dad helps him to be settled and keep the family together while they all learn to cope with Joy’s ill health. When Michael is just getting used to his new house he meets his new neighbour, a girl called Mina.
Another scene that shows how men make all the financial decisions is when George Gibbs asks for a raise in his allowance and his father is the one who must permit this, even though he originally asked his mother. There is a brief scene in Act I where the paper boy is talking with one of the townspeople about how his school teacher is leaving the school to get married to a man in Concord. This shows that women in Grover’s Corners must drop their careers and life to follow their husband. Also in the first act, Mr. Webb is describing the political aspects of Grover’s Corners and he mentions that their board of selectmen is made up of all males, and that women are not allowed to vote. This shows

Gatsby and Daisy carry on their day after meeting in Jay Gatz’s mansion. When they reached his bedroom it was ‘“the simplest room of all”’(91). This is when Gatsby starts throwing shirts all over Daisy, shirts that were, linen, silk, and flannel with all sorts of different colors, in the middle of throwing the shirts, Daisy starts to sob. She was sad because she hadn't seen as beautiful shirts before. This scene shows the reader that Daisy still cares for Gatsby and that even though they’ve been apart for so long they can make something work between them.
Montag, at first, is confused by the question, replying with “Am I what?” He then proceeds to his house, reassuring himself that he is indeed happy and there was no question about it. As he keeps seeing Clarisse for quite a bit of time, after his wife's attempted suicide, his view on his happiness begins to alter. He begins to view the world as a bewildering place, where people were doing strange things for unexplainable reasons. When the old woman in the house the firemen were supposed to burn down didn't leave, Montag tried to persuade her to go; that books weren't as important as staying alive. The woman, refusing, lit her house along with herself on fire.

Moving out from my parents’ house I think that when the time comes to move out of your parents' home, you should be prepared for the independence. Was I really prepared?. The day I moved out from my parents’ house in Veracruz I was 19 years old and it was one of the weirdest days in my life because I was feeling so happy for the fact that I was going to be independent, but on the other hand I was sad because I was leaving my parents, the house where I grew behind and finally I didn’t know the big change that was coming. I was so happy packing my clothes, and excited for the new things I was going to experience away from my parents’ home, for example independence and the idea of starting a new family with my baby and my husband in San Diego.
Finally the day came for grandma to see the new house; this happened to be one of her good days. She loved the new place, and so did we everything was perfect. The next day I had to work a day shift so my husband and his grandma dropped me off at work like any other day. About 7 O‘clock come it was time for me to get off my husband called me telling me grandma did not want to go, but he did not want to leave her at the house. We had already told the neighbors everything and given them our number just in case she was still herself to a point though and this day she was normal so I told my husband tell the new neighbor she will be there and call us in case of an emergency.
