In a world where every day there is something new for people to learn, discuss, and even view without having to even be around when the thing we discuss have happened. However can we say that media has a direct link to the violence we see every day; or is it more so that we as people are just gaining knowledge of these mischievous mishaps to better protect ourselves from them? Many have brought up the argument that the media gives citizens a direct link to violence in its society, however is the media truly at fault? What if a person commits a crime solely because he or she had a disagreement with another individual. Basically what im getting at her is that the impact that media has on our lives can be both for the good and the bad. The media allows us to be in the “NOW”, for with out media; we the people of this great country wouldn’t be aware of anything going on with the world at the moment. Media is societies gateway to learning and also generating new information each day. Today in society, our daily lives are impacted by our family, friends, schools, teachers, jobs, and the media. With out the media we would be a man looking for living dinosaurs, (looking for something that isn’t there) for it would be information we wouldn’t have the means of knowing. Without technology, people wouldn’t know what was going on in the world and it would then be as if the government is doing what they’ve tried to do all along. Keep things from us that we as people undoubtedly have the right to know. The moral is that, without media in our daily lives how would we know how our lives are being impacted
