Fitzgerald in Nick and Gatsby The Great Gatsby can be categorized as an autobiographical novel because F. Scott Fitzgerald life events and characteristics are portrayed in the main characters of Nick and Gatsby. When reading the novel The Great Gatsby the audience primarily favors Nick over the other characters because they appreciate his honesty.
