Policy Process II Policy Process II Policy process is an important aspect within the health care industry. Policy processes are developed by government which, institutes public issues through a political process. During this process policymakers reach consensus concerning the future state. Policy makers identify and create policies that employ actions and monitor progress of desirable provisions. According to "Illinois State University Focus on the Initiative" (2013), “Policy making and implementation involves interaction and conflict among individuals and groups who struggle for power, representing different viewpoints and interests. All forms of political involvement potentially involve citizens with public policy” (Policy, Power, Politics). Part I of the policy process involves the formulation stage, legislation stage, and implementation stage. The formulation involves identifying and gathering of information, ideas, and issues proposed by interest groups. The legislation stage classifies discussions, debates, and considerations of enacting laws. The implementation stage engage in the execution of the policy enacted upon. Although implementation compliments the formulation stage and legislation stage, it pilots amendments to policies. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate on Part II of the policy process in which, it rivets the evaluation stage, analysis stage, revision stage, and the methodology process for evaluating and revising public policy. This paper will detect the above policy processes and the concerns involved with women living in the United States with HIV/AIDS epidemic. Evaluation Stage Although part I of the policy process seem to conclude the establishment, of a policy process. The evaluation stage is a key component that determines if the policy meets the goals and objectives of implementation.
