In a school there are many other people to consider as your team rather than just the people you work with closely on a daily basis. Knowing and executing your role as an individual to the best of your ability allows you to be a valued member of any team. It is also essential to know the roles of those around you. This allows you to fully understand and support each other. By working as a team you can gain valuable knowledge from those who are more experienced than you, but it also allows you to suggest newer and fresher ways to approach learning.
My students will develop a community that respects each other in the classroom as well as out of the classroom. Once these goals have been met I feel that the rest of the year will be smooth sailing! (Gallagher, 1999-2012). In the field of education, good classroom management is essential ( Froyer & Iverson, 1999) . Encouraging and establishing student self-control through a process of promoting positive student achievement and behavior is what every classroom needs.
I would like to show my family that education is very important, because it doesn't only affect you but everyone that is surrounded by you. I would like to set an example for my little sister, and younger cousins, that anything is possible, and that your education sets a path for your future that if you have a bright future you can have a beautiful life. I would also like God to be proud of me as well. Bishop Noll Institute offers a challenging academic environment, I clearly see it in the upperclassmen’s attitudes and the standards that they set for me as a freshman this year. The more I know the better opportunities will come my way in the future.
I will create this environment through an engaging curriculum, personable interaction, topic orientated discussions, and group work. Since my license will include an endorsement in Special Education my classroom management will include a focus on flexibility defined as the ability to respond to the moods, emotions and the capabilities of my students on any given day. Meeting the needs of my students, based on their individual need, will be a crucial part of my classroom management structure. I will accomplishment this by promoting self-management and self-efficacy in my students to the best of their abilities. Creating a predictable, consistent, and success-oriented environment will promote self-management in my students by creating, basic, daily routines with limited changes (Savage & Savage, 2010).
There is a positive culture of learning and development that is celebrated by merits, certificates, displays and praise from teaching staff. School trips are used to help pupils to work together and increase team work and bonding. School clubs are varied and encourage pupils to further their interests in other areas. The school has an inclusive environment and positively reflects the importance of diversity, every effort is made to ensure that all pupils can be involved in all areas of school life and other cultures are celebrated. The aims or vision of a school are often seen in the school literature and are set by the head teacher in collaboration with the staff, parents and community.
Being an RA/CA will help improve me being much more responsible with a job. Whenever I have a job I am responsible. But I feel as though I can never be more responsible. I take any job I have seriously. I hope to be a great asset to the school.
Nursing school opened new horizons for my community involvement. Previous year I volunteered for Red Cross Blood Drive and obtained valuable experience in helping others with blood donations. This year I decided to volunteer at Open Door Health Clinic, Muncie, Indiana. I thought being almost graduate nursing student would expand my current experience level at other healthcare setting. Open Door is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center which provides comprehensive primary, urgent, and preventative healthcare to individuals and families through East Central Indiana regardless of their health insurance status, such as Medicare or Medicaid, disability claims, or other government-sponsored programs.
1. As a teacher, I can promote resilience in my classroom by creating positive and caring relationships with my parents and children. Promoting caring relationships with my families would be top priority in my classroom. Parents have to trust that their children are safe and welled cared for when they leave their children in my care. For example, I would host a family day where the students can bring their parent s to school for the day.
The students also become able to work on individual goals while also participating in the classroom community with their peers. Another beneficial quality includes the fact that each of the parents can now feel including in their education and the activities of their neighborhood schools. One of the most important qualities of this program is that the students that were once excluding into self-contained classrooms or were homebound can now develop friendships with a wide variety of other children with their own individual wants, needs and abilities. One last reason that inclusion is beneficial is that inclusion positively convinces both the school and the community to appreciate the diversity provided by the inclusion
He provided me with handouts for both medical school and physical therapy school which included the pre-requisites for potential acceptance. A degree in Kinesiology coordinates perfectly with medical school and physical therapy schools in relation to required courses. I am aiming high in hopes of attending medical school, but will increase my chances of reaching my career goal by applying to physical therapy schools as well. My sister graduated from Texas A&M and will be graduating from the UNT Health Science Center this year. Her incredible stories of her encounters at school only feed my desire to attend medical or physical therapy school after
