It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.
We enter this world but an empty canvas. From birth, we slowly but surely are shaped to fit the beliefs, values and standards of the family, society and culture of which we are a part of. As we continue our development and evolution within the family, we are dependent upon our caregivers for nurturing, nourishment and emotional sustenance. Parents readily both positively and negatively reinforce behaviors according to their own values and ideas about what is and isn’t acceptable behavior. Actively taking part in shaping ones sense of reality due to their past and past experiences.

Values are what you want and need to achieve the goals you set for yourself and your family. Values can be obtained in many different ways. The most important piece for building values is your family. I am responsible as a mother for teaching my children what is right or wrong before, any other influence reaches them. I can only wish that what I have already instilled in my two children is a reflection of myself as a parent.
Children tend to role play themselves through play playing schools and playing the role of teachers, playing mums and dads, etc so this proves that the way in which adults behave has a strong impact on how children look up to adults as role models. Having strong role models gives children security throughout their life. Teachers as role models help the child learn about rules,
If I have to sell a ‘product’, then it is one in which I must have my heart. Similarly, detailed and passionate knowledge of my subject is a given; as is the prerequisite of thorough research prior to and during the unit. Learning should be modelled, regardless of age or academic attainment. If I want commitment from my students, then I must do the same. Students need to see that there is equity in the classroom, including clear, consistent guidelines concerning procedures, expectations and discipline.
Values This assignment will discuss personal values and how we acquire them. I will discuss Professional values and the importance of a value base for social work. Over many years, numerous lists of professional values have been created; the history of these lists will be examined together with the codes of practice and anti discriminatory practice in relation with the treatment of Sylvia who has Huntington’s disease. We are all born as entirely reliant infants, but through close proximity with our primary educators (mainly our parents), we are taught how to exist in our culture and acquire our personal values, which are inherited and passed down from generation to generation. Primary socialisation is during the early years of our life and is the most important developmental stage a human being can go through.
My Problem When Learning English Studying is important thing in my life. As a student, I always study in order to I can reach my dream in the future. English is important things that must be mastered in the modern world. We can not deny that. If we want to be successful in our study or in our job, we must master it.
They have a good esteem. When a child is being bullied, it usually begins from school or public setting. So therefore we all watch out for bullying and help prevent it. “Bullying is a problem that many children experience outside the home, especially at school” (Dracic, 2009, Pg. 218).
I think long and hard and weigh the pros and cons before I come to a conclusion, because my outcome will not only affect me, but everyone around me also. It is my personal responsibility to do the best that I can to obtain my degree. It is also my personal responsibility to turn in all my assignments, study for tests, and put in the correct amount of time and participation each week in order to pass the course. My preliminary plan to practice personal responsibility in my education includes, time management, self-discipline, and adopting good study skills. Personal responsibility, as it relates to academics is the taking charge of one’s own learning.
