In Middle School I had many opportunities that made me a better person. I am very glad because I always had an important person on my life that motivates me and this is my sister Ana, I love her so much. In middle School I was able to participate in various activities such as Poetry, Math and Dance Contests, from which I did the best I could and these activities gave me awesome experiences. At the end of middle school I received the honor of been the number one student of my class. Having the privilege of being the number one in middle school gave me the opportunity to go to a very good High School.
The experience that has given me the biggest sense of ‘Firebird Pride’ is my time in National Honor Society. I truly enjoy giving back to the community and school that has given me so much. Through working with students my own age to senior citizens to citizens of Dayton in homeless shelters, I have realized how blessed I am to have all of the opportunities that have arisen during my high school career. I am a stronger leader, a better community member, and a more patient and understanding person because of the service I have provided throughout my time in NHS. Through the tutoring hours put into this group, I have formed bonds with students I never would have otherwise been around and the relationships with these kids and their parents have made me feel like I have had my own impact on the community.
After the test I read the results and decided what I am going to do for my career. I sat down with my family and told them what I want to do, and about my goals. They told me that would be great. We all then started putting things together to see what I need to do to reach my goals. I made sure that I would have help around the house while I am going to school, then my oldest daughter told me that she would be so proud to see me succeed my goal.
However I know that returning to school will benefit me in many ways. It will complete me as an individual, businessman, and as a father. I can proudly tell my children that it's never too late to accomplish a goal. Not to mention the satisfaction that I will have gained knowing that I pushed myself to go back to school for my degree. There are so many positives that result from returning to school.
The names Riyad and I’m blessed I’ve gotten to graduate from Saints Mary & Joseph School. I find it astonishing how someone could feel so personally connected to all the teachers, students, staff, & parents. I greatly appreciate everything they have done for my school and I. Looking back at the past 10 years of my life, I’ve seen how everyone has grown and changed; but only for the best. When I really take the time to think about it I wouldn’t want to grow and mature with any other class.
My Life Willie Page PSY 202 Instructor :Diana Donovan February 29, 2012 I never thought at the age of 33 that I would end up back in school again. Once I graduated from high school, I started college majoring in computer science. I started off good until my courses were getting difficult for me. It also didn’t help that I was working as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut. In this paper,I will present a brief description of a few of my life experiences that have helped shape the person I am today and analyze some of these experiences using the adult development theories from this class.
They all supported whatever I did and helped me in every way possible. If I needed a notebook or a pen or a book bag they would go out and buy it. In return it was my job to do well in school. I held my end of the bargain and I brought academic success to my family on June, 10, 2010. That was one of the most memorable days in my life.
I am proud to be a 2010 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High school where I have found memories of the teaching staff and all the help they provided. I will be in need of slight accommodations as provided under the students with disabilities act. I hope to receive help as determined by the staff to ensure I achieve the grades I know I am capable of. In high
In order to give us a brighter future, my parents and grandparents emigrated from Laos to United States. They moved into many different places before they finally settled in Fresno. During my childhood moments, I remembered going to school every day, not knowing how it will benefit me in the future. I don’t see a reason why I have to go to school besides playing and having fun with my friends. I always lack on my homework and watched movies instead of studying.
I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary students who were chosen to become a part of the pioneer batch of the Honors Program of Enderun. I must admit that this is something that I have been looking forward to since the beginning of my college career. The Honors Program aims to recognize students with outstanding grades and commendable characters which I strongly believe that I both acquire. I believe that I deserve to retain my part on the Program because I have worked very hard and gave my very best to attain such standing. Looking back, there were several poignant moments when I was struggling with my classes and would have given up trying to achieve my goals.
