The importance of my argument is how some women use pro athletes for a pay check. The term used for these women is gold digger - women who use pro athletes for their money. The word baby mama drama is another African term used to talk about the mother of their child. Many women use Pro athletes for their money. They see them as a pay check and if they have a baby by a Pro athlete, they are set for life or just until the child is 18 years old. We should all care because it’s not fair to the pros that all looking for true love and end up with a child support bill or case. If we don’t start caring or trying to do something, a lot of athletes will end up broke. The one that best fits my argument is the common factor method. It’s this one because the common factor method says that sometimes causes can be identified because two or more similar events share common factor. The common factor can sometimes be the cause. In my topic the common factor is athletes and child support. When most couples divorce or separate, the spouse that does not have custody of the child, which in most cases are the father, have to pay child support on their kids, sometimes up until they graduate from college. The common factor method is related because in this case athletes having to pay child support are a negative effect and cause. They are required to pay lots of money to the mother of their children, and most times the amount of money they are paying is way more than enough to support the child. A common cause they we notice in these cases are that the mothers are not using all the money they receive from child support to provide for their children , which is to most people and athletes a way of the mothers trying to take all the athletes money.
