Columbine Shooting April 20th, at Columbine Senior High School in Littleton, Jefferson County, Colorado, two teenage gunmen entered the school and began shooting. The tragic event that took place on April 20th, 1999 at Columbine High School in Denver, Colorado at 11:19 a.m. did not only affect that school and the lives that they took and injured, but it caused many permanent changes in the school systems since then in order to avoid a catastrophe of that nature again. The memory of this event was constructed in that we were made to believe that the reason these boys committed this act of violence was because they were picked on in school, bullied and were directing their acts towards jocks and Christians; it later came out that this was not necessarily the case.
