Research Strategy Project Student name GEN200 July 25th, 2011 Faculty name Research Strategy Project Description of the problem: With only 24 hours in a day and tons of daily tasks, family and academic projects; time management is my biggest problem at the moment. Before I started preparing myself for bigger challenges in achieving my educational goals, I was underestimating the importance of “Time Management”. Time management is a powerful tool to get a better control over your use of time and energy. There are tons of things to do on daily basis and having a list with sorted out priorities really helps. Making weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedules can also reduce the risk of overlapping assignments or appointments. Prioritizing tasks and activities on a list with easy to follow legends like high, medium or low priority can help managing time effectively. Keeping a calendar is really useful. Sites like www.google.com offer calendar services that we can carry with us on our smartphones. Process to Evaluate information: When I will be researching on the internet, I will be paying close attention in the content I will be reading. I will verify the validity and authenticity of the authors and sites which are claiming the information to be true.
