To do this they are preparing to launch a Frequent Shopper Program. This program will award points to customers to redeem for gifts and other services. The new system will keep track of purchases for each customer and accumulating points in order for them to redeem special coupons, vouchers, and other redeemable items. It can also be used to obtain special member sale prices on certain items. Currently, Kudler Fine Foods does not have an automated system that keeps track of their inventory and all other business transactions. Everything is manually tracked, which takes time, manpower and is not cost effective (University of Phoenix Material, 2010). There are different factors that Kudler has to consider prior to creating a design for the new frequent shopper program. Kudler does not have a point of sale (POS) system that they can link to the frequent shopper program in all three different store locations. By implementing a frequent shopper program Kudler Fine Foods can do just that. By delivering customized incentives to its customers rather than discounted items Kudler Fine Foods will set themselves apart from other markets. Kudler Fine Foods can expect to see several benefits from establishing a frequent shopper program. The expected benefits from establishing the frequent shopper program will benefit both Kudler Fine Foods and its consumers. The consumers will benefit by obtaining the quality goods Kudler provides as well as customized promotions based on personal shopping patterns. Tracking the shopping patterns of the customers will help develop a marketing strategy for Kudler. This strategy will allow Kudler to offer certain products at times when an increase in demand has been determined by shopping trends. Kudler will also benefit from this program with an increase in revenue and a more stream lined business process. This program will keep track of individual customers purchasing behaviors, which will allow Kudler to know how much of a certain product to stock. This could also determine manpower needs for certain days of the week.
