Four Functions of Management Management requires the ability and talent to incorporate multiple pieces of information in order to achieve perfection. Many companies’ whether new or old, big or small all require the management team to collaborate and develop more creative ideas in order to solve problems which may be affecting the organization. In order for management to have the ability to achieve and develop new ideas, they must first have the ability to use the four functions of management effectively. The use of these four functions will permit the management team to come up with tactical strategies to overcome company obstacles. The foundation for a company’s success is the planning process of developing business objectives on how to handle these obstacles. With the four functions of management it is important to adhere to each of these functions in order for the collaboration process to work efficiently. The first process he or she should keep in mind is the planning process. In this process the organization evaluates where the company currently stands and where the company would like to be within a certain period of time. Within this process the management team can come up with corrective action strategies in order to improve the factors that are affecting the organization. For this assignment the author will share how she can relate to the four factors of management within her organization. The author is currently a staffing supervisors employed at Kelly Services.
