Kimberly Carr November 13, 2011 Breast Cancer Have you ever heard the phrase “fight like a girl?” Probably, but not in the context that I will share with you. In today’s world fight like a girl means so many different things. The most important way this phrase can be explained is winning the battle or fight against breast cancer. Did you know that ninety percent of all cancers are curable if detected in stage one. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women; it is also the disease that all women fear the most. Breast cancer can also occur in men, but it is far less common. In the last thirty years, doctors have made great strides in early diagnosis and treatments of this horrible disease and in reducing many breast cancer deaths.…show more content…
