In this lens it is taught to focus on the processes, and the systems needed for an ethical organization. The difference between the first two lens discussed is that the Right and Responsibility Lens, and the Results lens focused on the individual, the Relationship lens focuses on the community. However in the relationship lens it has a few more concerns, such as how to protect the basic liberties of all people. These liberties are broken down into rights such as; The right to notice, The right to voice, not to veto, The right to have contracts honored. The Relationship Lens helped influence my decision by giving us a process by which basic liberties can be protected.
The conflicts that are found in the everyday world is in need of open minded, diverse people. Obligation is indeed an efficient ethical perspective with strong ties to doing the fair and just thing. There are times when your obligation to the law might override your obligation to your partners or fellow officers. You have to be willing to abide by the code of ethics set before you which are true and just. In order to work with a diverse group of people you must be able to conform to the moment and the situation being flexible in your actions but conforming to your obligations.

The codes of ethics presented by both are to provide clarity of ethical practices that protect not only the client but the counselor and the profession of counseling as well. Because this particular situation is not specifically mentioned in the interpreting Code of Ethics, it is necessary for the interpreter to use their own personal morals and ethical judgment in order to decide which course of action or inaction to take. In order to make this decision, critical thinking is needed. A variety of viewpoints need to be considered, and there are steps to consider.
