It is at this meeting where the whole team is introduced to the aggressive and wild tactic. The team then goes into the game against their rivals and ends up beating them and in doing so they accomplished their goal. The play has seven major roles: Coach Brindell, Jess, Crash, Marisol, Katie, Ingrid, Liv, and Jocelyn. The coach is a very proud man who doesn’t like to receive much help from others. Eventually he listens to his players and it works out in the end.
All the thoughts of selfishness had surpassed their minds. This is inspiring to me because it all seemed so real. Its not everyday that something like that happens in the war in a foreign country, but you daily see people giving up their wants and desires for others and that makes me think that there is hope for the human society. Three Kings was a good movie because it inspired me. It inspired me because of the message and how that message was physically displayed through the actions
CHARACTER TRAIT ESSAY THE HUNGER GAMES Dealing with a traumatic experience early in life can form a person’s path for their future. However, even though one suffers trauma there is always hope, one can always overcome any obstacle and come out of the experience as a stronger person. This is the exact path that Suzanne Collins’ character Haymitch Abernathy travels throughout her novel The Hunger Games. Haymitch numbs his reality of winning the Hunger Games and mentoring unsuccessful tributes year after year with the use and abuse of alcohol. He then meats the latest tribute, Katnis and Peeta, and feels hopeful that they actually have a chance.
Task 2: Determine the best approach to manage the dinner party The proposals should indicate the best, most efficient and cost effective way of managing the dinner party. Number 7 was the first true believer; he went out on a limb, in wanting to find the truth, when he could have very easily anonymously voted guilty and they could have been done with the situation. Basically, Number 7 gave Number 6 support; he changed the tables so it wasn’t so one sided, and he gave Number 6 the chance to convince other people. After everyone voted it became obvious that they would need to discuss the situation. He opened up the table for Juror Number 6, giving him the chance to convince everyone else. Juror 7 saved the whole process himself by being open to new ideas and questioning what he knew.
The survival theme comes from the idea that even without the uprising and the bad things happening, the citizen’s every day life is always a game of survival. Also, this theme of surviving is seen in the actual Hunger Games because the whole point of the Games is to out live the opponents. The thought of rebellion comes from the entire book because rebellion is the primary topic that the entire book revolves around. The last idea is the idea of the overpowering government control and how it greatly influences the people of the districts. This was shown through the way the people were treated in Panam and it also was proven by seeing how strict and merciless the government is.
Well, of course I was raging with fury at my first reaction. I reflected upon all my conversations that I had, and just imagined the great laugh that the NSA had over my calls. But after all, there must be some reason behind their actions. Despite that I’m mad about those guys overhearing my conversations, I guess we should all be happy that our government attempts on providing a secure place for all of us, in our great country. Perceiving the situation from the NSA’s point of view made me think outside the box for some time, though I’m still very mad… But being at this psychological state of mind will not lead anyone to a better thinking process.
Yet very embarrassed, Case was still very proud of his team for confidently taking a stand and getting their point across. The protest resulted in angry alumni letters and checks, warm showers, and a wide spread reach for equality across the nation based off of Title
They also show that when you experience change, you will most likely enjoy it and realise that it has actually helped you. In the movie Chocolat, there were many cases where the theme of change is evident. In each of these instances, the change is not welcome at first but later it makes people very happy. For example, before Josephine changed, she was a mess. She was stealing and getting beaten by her husband on a regular basis.
Sports Memory Sports have always been enjoyable to me especially when they were competitive but friendly and enjoyable. URA basketball was the most enjoyable version of sports I knew. It was always competitive and people wanted to win, but when you lost or won you would just joke about it at school and had bragging rights for a little while. It gave us something to talk about and everyone played so it always found its way into our conversations. My seventh grade year I had a good URA team.
