All people should be treated with respect, should be able to make their own choices and progress in life, no matter their background, gender, ethnicity, religion, or disability. In order to do my job as an RCW I must ensure that I utilise essential principles and values of young people. Firstly we can consider exercising mutual respect. I can do this by taking an interest in other people’s interests, if a young person has a particular interest I could ask them about it and show a willingness to learn about it. If a young person has a particular religion that they follow I would ensure that this is accommodated fully so that they are able to practice.
It will allow me to research on a more personal level rather than just through scholar sources. My inspiration for this theme came from memories as a child, on a Sunday all of my Nana’s six children, spouses and twelve grandchildren would gather at her home for Sunday dinner. The kitchen was the main attraction as we all knew we were in for an unforgettable treat, even if the menu was the same as last weeks. All the women gathered in the kitchen each designated a specific job and no matter how big or small, it was important because, without it dinner would not be the
I am currently on a diet plan because I just recently had a baby. I have started this plan about two weeks ago and it has been effective for since I have lost six pounds. My plan consist of not consuming more than 2,000 calories a day and replacing one meal for a protein shake for breakfast every morning. For lunch, I may have a cup of fruit, Greek yogurt, and/or a plain turkey sandwich. For dinner, I mainly consume fish, maybe salmon but never fried, mixed vegetables, and boiled eggs.
Eventually in 1967, he opened his first Chick-Fil-A location in Atlanta. Chick-Fil-A serves freshly prepared, nutritious foods in mall locations, stand –alone restaurants, drive-thru only restaurants as well as Chick-Fil-A Dwarf House, and Truett’s Grill full service restaurants. The company was built upon his strong Christian beliefs. Till this day, the chain is not open on Sundays due the command that the seventh day is a day of rest. Their Christian philosophy also influences their keys to success; which are to listen to the customer, focus on getting better before trying to get bigger, and to put emphasis on quality (“Chick-fil-A: Press Releases”).
The Great American Bandstand was another version of a live concert. My nana mentioned Frank Sinatra almost every other sentence because she loved his style, class, voice, and especially his looks. You owned all of his records, and would play them all day doing work around the house or preparing dinner for my papa. Unfortunately, your records and record player were lost many years ago. I mentioned that you could listen to Frank Sinatra anytime you wanted by using Pandora.
Something that I have always been taught growing up. Luke 6:31enforces this,” Do to others as you would have them do to you. In no way would I ever deliberate treat someone with disrespect. This also ties in with setting a good example. Not only do you want to treat others as you expect to be treated, but you should treat others as you know people are watching.
Tiger woods was born in Cypress, California in 1975 and was greeted by his mom Kultida Woods, dad Earl Woods, aunt Royce Woods and his cousin Earl Jr Woods. While being an only child he was spoiled with everything that he wanted from toys to games. His father was very supportive in everything that he did and urged him to do what he loved. Tiger woods favorite saying is “I don’t cook, not as long as they still deliver pizza due to him not being able
It is the policy, currently, to include all children in mainstream education so long as the curriculum can be adapted to suit an individual pupils needs. It is easy for an adult as well as another child to have personal predjudices against a child or another adult. This can be due to lack of knowledge and understanding of other cultures and beliefs, therefore it is beneficial for practitioners and parents to study and gain knowledge of other cultural beliefs and the way in which they do things differently. It is also a good idea to understand important aspects of their religion such as having to wear special clothing as a sign of commitment to their religion or festivals and the need to pray and eat certain foods. Gaining this will help to understand why this is important to them and become accustomed to different
Respect and obedience is also a major value in my family. My children are to always remain respectful to anyone that’s their elder. However, as they come of age, I don’t believe I will have set duties for them around the house. I believe that these tasks should be shared by both male and female. I pray that many of the religion and family values will be instilled in my daughter as well.
I never knew exactly why I wanted to become a RN, besides the fact I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps. Until my grandpa started to go downhill. Before I started going to kindergarten, my dad would always drop me off at my Grandpa’s house while he went to work up at the University of Utah’s Hospital. Our mornings together consisted of going to the Coffee Shop where everyone knew who we were. We would always sit at the bar each morning while Carolyn, our waitress, would bring my Grandpa his coffee and me my chocolate milk.
