Being a teaching assistant ,you have to model yourself in a best possible way to communicate with children as they learn and absorb your methods of communication. In order to develop and maintain positive relationships with children ,I have to communicate politely and clearly so that they can understand me. By using simple vocabulary and positive body language I can get their attention more easily and my friendly approach would make me trustworthy for them and they can discuss their problems or share their ideas with me. For example,in my placement,my friendly and polite attitude towards reception children makes it easy for them to bring their complaints to me;if they are hurt or hit by somebody.
Maintaining a positive attitude is helpful in many ways and makes you likeable among the students. Being organized helps the peer tutor keep track of all the assignments that are given without falling behind. Being organized also helps the peer tutor set a good example for the students in the classroom to follow. It also shows the teacher that the peer tutor knows what he/she is doing and that he/she comes to class prepared ready to help the students. In the classroom, it is a great opportunity for a peer tutor to demonstrate his/her skills and abilities.
Children as they grow develop writing and reading skills and parents are the first teachers of the children’s skills. Resources plays important role in the advancement of literacy skills for examples children who have books to read at home and communicate more often have higher chance of developing reading and writing skills faster in school than those with no such resources. Family literacy becomes meaningful when all the family members are in support of the development of the literacy initiatives. Communication is an important tool which helps the parents to enhance their children’s imagination and how the develop the skills of writing and reading. The government plays an important role in developing literacy programs and evaluating the best practices to adopt in schools to ensure that the literacy skills are gained by the children studying.

Teachers use rubrics to assess students, they make it much easier, more consistent, and objective. They also help teachers focus better on key concepts. By making a work model (rubric) for students to use students will be able to improve and increase knowledge students will acquire. Teacher can better justify student grades by using a rubric that clearly shows where the student rates according to the rubric.
A teen should not have to face depression at such a young age. Then again, by becoming more independent learners through homework, the average students will demonstration an improvement in their grades. Students that habitually do their homework can expect to have greater test scores and also higher class grades. This is because students are taking time to develop their understanding of skills and concepts through practice and self-understanding. As you can see, there are pros and cons about homework.
In order for this to happen, teachers must find ways to keep the students interest and help them to have a deeper understanding of math. Using a hands-on approach, such as manipulatives, is one way to build a stable mathematical foundation. Using manipulatives to instruct daily math lessons insures that students understanding of concrete mathematics will increase. Math manipulatives “refers to any hands-on object that the students can physically move in order to discover the solution to a problem” (Rust, 1999, p. 2). According to Rust (1999) the use of manipulatives is not a new idea.
The teacher or professor may accomplish this by reviewing the material, emphasizing key points, and providing the students with examples that they would easily relate to. Most of them are willing to dedicate extra time to help the student meet his or her needs. Several high school teachers, as well as some college professors go beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. They teach you about life, all its hardships and all its rewards. Receiving a good education is great, but enhancing yourself and growing as a person is just as important.

To others, it can be a fun and exciting activity that they look forward to and have been inspired by it as a child. Reading is said to be an inspirational way of growing, and doing it as early as possible helps build a child sooner rather than later, thus giving the child the fundamental aspects of strength early on. Prior to school, children who are used to the idea of reading come a long way when school starts because they were ahead of the crew. This affects the child in a personal matter that pertains to self and giving a sense of accomplishment and confidence right as they start off learning.
