“Education Is Important” What Are Your Views?

“Education is the most powerful weapon that we can use to change the world.” Nelson Mandela said which have inspired others all around the world. Education provides us with knowledge about the world. It pares the way for a good career; it helps build character; education makes us human complete. Moreover, it also prepares the younger generation for the life outside school. I believe education is very important. Being educated allows us to keep up with the world; it makes us confidents and lastly turns our dreams into reality. There are some people who claim that school does not make any contribution at all towards preparations of life. In order to back up their argument, they often cite people who did very badly in school and yet became very famous or wealthy in later life. This is a very negative and a cynical view of education and school. The foundation of the society is based on education since it brings economic and social prosperity. Gaining education enhances an individual to live a respectful life in the society. This is because education offers a setting in which culture and values of a society are developed. In this respect, education in modern society provides a forum where the society examines its issues and identifies solutions. The advancement of a society both economically and socially is by gaining education which consequently enables them to run a modern society. At the very least, school teaches some very basic and vital skills. At an early age we earn such as elementary arithmetical skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. We cannot cope very well in life without skills, especially as far as the handling of money is concerned. We also learn to read at school and put our ideas and thoughts into writing. If we are not reasonably adept at reading and writing we will find it difficult to communicate
