My response is its art for the ears how can you not appreciate the many different styles and forms of music to deny one is just being closed minded to the beauty and the heart that went into the song or music. I may not like the style or agree with every artist views but I feel the need to at least give everyone’s music a try, never know what can happen. A new band or artist can become one of your favorites. The love that I have for music has surprised many of my close friends and family. They sometimes laugh at me for knowing certain songs that they would never expect for me to like.
It is a means to communicate with all, although less straightforward and less precise than written or spoken language. It is a way for people to communicate even for those that have lost their voice. Art is less restricted than other types of binary communication because it calls into play more levels of personal experience, both subtly and explicitly. Art impacts individuals in numerous ways, and has been doing so throughout history. For thousands of years people have been creating, enjoying, and criticizing art.
I have gone in deep understanding while I have read different articles on the Net. As an international student I have found Goggle and other Net search engines as the best tool to success in my classes. If I have the hard time understanding different words or articles from my classes I have the online friends of Ask.com to help me out and millions of articles to gain a deeper understanding. The commercial about the lady who was asking about a solution about her back pain is a typical example of web searching. I know that when we type different question or key words in our search engines a millions of other things pop out.
Emily McLoughlin Journal Entry #1 Today in Education 300 I met three new girls that I probably would have never met if I did not take this class. We introduced ourselves to each other and immediately started some small talk. Next we made nametags and filled in a seating chart. Looking around the classroom I immediately became excited for what the semester has in store for me. Little did I know that the next activity would allow us to get to know each other even more.
As the teacher with a great smile come inside her room to greet her students, then she introduces herself to them, trying her best to feel them welcomed and comfortable. Throughout the school years, those children learn how to read, write, and socialize with others with the aid of their teacher. As they grow older, mentally and physically, their learning standards would expand and enhance. Each subject gets difficult every year. More presentation, discussion, and analyzing an article or story that they read in class.
Throughout primary School and high school my love of reading and writing grew and so, did the number of books and also my ability to pronounce and understand English. Before I knew it, I had been acing all the sorts of verbal and written work presented to me, by my teachers because for me, it was more of curiosity and interest rather
My job was to analyze and compile the data they use to collect and make final reports and presentations for the work. Like all typical groups, in our group also there were good and bad events and moments. Sometimes, we used to have conflict among us over different issues, but we shared the joy of good remarks for our work together. Whatever the issue was we seemed to work together and resolve conflicts among each other to compile the work necessary. I don’t know what kind of experiences my group members had with me and the group during the entire year but I had all sorts of experiences with them and I learned a lot from them and group work.
I have always been a social person, constantly working on projects, hobbies and going out with friends. Yet, the main thing that assisted me through my stay was reading. I love to read. And if I could do nothing else for the next several days I know I could lose myself in literature. When I left the hospital I would begin an aggressive chemotherapy for at least the next six months.
Sherlock Holmes: From Books to Movie Posters For over a century, Sherlock Holmes has evolved into a character many people have come to love. Throughout these years, over 200 films have been made portraying the Sherlock Holmes’ character. With almost every film that is made, a poster is created to advertise it. While analyzing all posters shown in the powerpoint given to the students in class, one can see the different styles used in the attempt to capture the audience’s attention. The use of negative space, words and visual rhetoric are vital in making the poster appeal to as many people as possible.
