Making a right choice for the future education is very important. However, what makes it even harder is deciding whether to attend a community college or a university. If a student intends to enlist in the Armed Forces, they will be granted a higher rank upon entry due to their completion of JROTC. If a student decides to go to college, JROTC is a great extracurricular activity to add to an application. The self confidence gained from completion of JROTC and skills learned during the course of instruction are ideal training for anyone wanting to attend college. Guinter (2011) feels it is essential to have many stakeholders to support and maintain an effective program. Guinter is also a professor at a local private university serves on many boards and uses these connections to collaborate with the school counseling program. He encourages the counselors to attend school board meetings to make their presence known. It is important to go out into the community to find people who support the schools and are positive role models to come into the schools to build recognition. Having those people show how school has provided them with success motivates the students whether they are college bound or not.

Corey Taylor is a celebrity and the book he wrote is pretty much an autobiography, therefore based on this argument, this would be a good book for students to read.
