Ashley was so confused that the only thing she could think of to say was yes, when she should have said no! Ashley became their friend but she never got why they wanted to be her friend. The mean girls were totally the antithesis of her; they were really preppy and wore expensive name brand clothing, and Ashley was not preppy and did not have much money. Everyday Ashley wished she could just ascend to a higher stage in her life but she couldn’t. Both of Ashley’s parents were normally austere.
My mother passed away when I was young and I was impacted greatly by this and the people around me had felt sorry for me but their perspective on the situation was still the same, as if nothing even happened and go on with there lives normally. There is more then just negative perspectives in life, most important one to me is positive perspectives. Now positive perspectives are a great thing. There are a lot of things in life that you have a positive perspective on, for example if a woman gets pregnant there is this part of you where you feel excited and happy and could forget about anything that has happened in your life in that first few minutes of finding out that news. There is something in between negative and positive perspectives that can be described as neutral.
...Is it good with water?" Her behavior can be interpreted to be a sign of insecurity more than anything else. Jig trusts his judgment, feels secure in his company and seems willing to do anything to keep him around. When pushed on the issue of the operation, Jig shows no real concern for her own health or mental well-being, stating categorically, "I don't care about me." Jig's main concern is whether or not she can make her partner happy so that they will "Be all right and be happy."
In the song Popular by MIKA and Ariana Grande when Ariana sings “I never was a model never was a scholar but you were always popular”, she is stating that being smart didn’t compare to being popular in the world she was in. This creates logos because it makes you think that if you’re popular that’s all that matters. She makes it seem as though being popular is the only way to be successful later in life. This song did not really use much of ethos other than the fact that they are living through this time and dealing with the evil students in it. This song does not have much pathos in it either.
There was Jane the daughter who did not care about being beautiful or noticed. She kept the company of one girl who tried to make herself out as the popular girl that everyone wanted and made everyone think she put out just to be popular. Ricky who saw beauty in the smallest plainest things, that everyone tagged as weird and crazy. I feel ane and Ricky were the only two in the whole movie who did not conflict with each other. The biggest conflict throughout the whole movie was a major communication issue in all ways.
”My sister’s the one who’s always had to imagine life without me”. Kate was selfless to come up with a plan so that her sister could live a normal life. Sara Fitzgerald is also brave because she never gave up with everything going wrong in her life she continued on strong. I agree with her decision throughout the book; I too would have done anything to keep my loved one alive. “My daughter has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant; the hospital explained that our insurance company needs to sign off on coverage.” Sara is desperately trying to get her daughter the help she needs but no one is trying to help her.
Amanda Wingfield was the mother of Laura and Tom Wingfield who sincerely cared about her children wanting what she thought was best for them, but at the same time seemed to control everything about them. Not only did Amanda seem to control every aspect of their lives, but also their every move, thoughts, and dreams. Mrs. Wingfield never asked her children what they really wanted nor what they thought their future would hold, making their opinion irrelevant. In order to make a living for herself and her children, Mrs. Amanda sold magazine subscriptions over the telephone to prospective clients in hopes that it would provider her with enough money to support her family. Some readers might describe Amanda Wingfield as an extremely domineering person, especially
To come from nothing, and have everything and some is what most people think happens in life. But for Chanel, it was no option. She had no other way of going about her fame. Luckily, for her, fame fell into her hands, and she took it and ran. In life many people teach to follow the heart and keep reaching for a big dream, and sometimes many people say if the dream is not scary, it is not big enough.
She has not done these things for time but every time he has done one thing, she feels more comfortable with herself. At the end of the story, Mrs. Sommer is sitting on a cable car wishing this would never end. When I first read the story, a thought pops up in my head is that Mrs. Sommer has done selfish things instead of putting her children first like she has always does. However, when I put myself in her position, I think this would be an ordinary thing that every single woman desires for. Mrs. Sommer has sacrificed too much for her family and this is just a little bit that she could enjoy.
It was not depression that made Veronika decide to die. She is attractive and enjoys life, but she sees the endless years of monotony stretching before her. She was twenty-four, she had enjoyed life, but her youth was now passing her by. What more had life to offer her? On a more philosophical level, she did not like the ways of the world, she felt powerless to do anything about it.
