Abstract In recent time, supply chain management has become more popular with how supply is manufactured and distributed through the collaboration of the various stakeholders. Supply management deals with various stakeholders collaborating on the best ways to distribute supplies. Supply chain management incorporates customers, purchasing of supplies, production, manufacturing, inventory, integration and distribution of supply and management of supplies with various people within an organization. Supply chain management has been around as far back as recorded history can tell. History shows how the ancient people produced supplies and distributed them to the various customers. These raw goods are assemble from different products from the various manufactures, production companies and distributed through various companies through different means. Down through the years the process of supply chain and its distribution has changed in ways and methods different from the past. Research will show the different ways supplies and goods move through the systems and the biggest supply chain managers. Research will highlight significant military supply events that have been crucial in the outcome of many battles and wars, as a direct result of the Army’s ability to sustain operations through supply management. Research will show how through the various stakeholders, contracts and distributors, supply is process and distributed.
