Surely, gender is not the main factor to decide that who can do good job in military because women can be a good sodier in some duties. Besides, women should be allowed into combat because of the following reasons: women can do good at leadership position, increasing more jobs for women today and women can do some specific jobs that male can not complete. First of all, women can do good at leadership position. In the past decades, women did not allowed to join in high positions such as: CEO, boss, manager or they could not allowed to run for president because women are emotional. In addition, people thought that women are too sensitive when they face to problems so they often solve the problems by their heart than their mind.
It is nonsense that the ban that prevents women from serving in combat battles has just recently been lifted. The government should be ashamed of themselves, especially after the tremendous effort women committed in the 1800's and 1900's to receive equal rights as men. Women are just as capable to succeed in combat, physically and mentally. The people who are against lifting the combat ban are sexist and blinded by their pomposity. They do not see how women serving their country will effect the battlefield in the most excellent ways.
Tran Trung Thao S3324298-G2 Final Draft Critical response to the article “No Women in Combat” After catastrophic wars, there was a huge amount of people that was mostly from military died to protect their countries and people lives for a beautiful future. Therefore, everyone can seem to feel the pains and agonies of the military, so calling women for the military service may be more likely unsatisfactory. This is also the reason for the appearance of the article “No Women in Combat” by Darren Graves from the Union of Military Men. The author shows three main points to prove that women are not fit to be in combat and some facts to supporting his ideas. The article is presented well with strong arguments but there are also some points that are needed to improve.

In Lepines’ letter, he sites how feminists had ruined his life and they were the reason he committed this crime. Feminist theory on crime explains this thought clearly. Lepines’ ideas about the roles of women were formed by a patriarchal society leading him to believe in some that women were not equal to men and should not be given all the opportunities of men (Knuttila, 305). These women wanted to be educated and become engineers; Lepine could not cope with this fact and blamed women, namely feminist for his short comings in life. Did Lepine come up with these ideas himself or was he a product of a society that dictated classical roles and oppression of women?
All that chaos contributed to the male chauvinism we see in our current society. Women had to handle that change without any moral support. Assuming that most military members are male in our center. Women are just as good to be in the service serving our country while taking care of a family. Women are portrayed as not good enough for the military because of weakness and genetically programed for the “caring” role. (DeGrott 2001). What about women who don’t have any children?
Miss Bingley Miss Bingley is a foolish and scheming character. She is shown in such a light that she is the complete opposite to that of Elizabeth Bennett; she is desperate for Darcy’s attention. "'Eliza Bennett,' said Miss Bingley, when the door was closed on her, 'is one of those young ladies who seek to recommend themselves to the other sex, by undervaluing their own...but, in my opinion, it is a paltry device, a very mean art.'" Miss Bingley immediately shows the reader her distaste to Elizabeth by trying to show Darcy what she believes is Elizabeth’s scheming character when in fact it is her that is the one trying to fool Darcy and the reader into thinking lowly of Elizabeth. Miss Bingley uses lots of pauses in her sentence possibly to show the reader that she may be pausing to see the effect her words may have on who she is speaking to.
Historically, women have not served as members of the military for a number of reasons. Traditionally, society views women as weaker than men, physically and emotionally, and so women are deemed unfit for combat. Women play a vital role in military operations, and have served in combat in many other countries very successfully. Integrated armies have been very successful as when Russia fought the Germans in World War II, as well as in modern day Israel. The Russians used women as aircraft pilots, tank drivers and just about every other skill level other than the infantry.
