Evaluation At the beginning of the pre-production stage of this unit we analysed three different adverts for different businesses. We had to analyse the content (e.g. narrative, visual, verbal and the audience of the adverts) and the style (e.g. was it humorous, surreal, dramatic or realistic?). This helped us to understand the concept of them. This also helps us to see who the advertisers target audience is and how he has managed to appeal the advert to them. After we had analysed these three individual adverts, we went on to analysing connecting adverts form five different companies. Some of the similarities between the adverts that we intentionally connect to getter, was that they had the same layout, same information, same colour scheme etc. Whereas the factors that made them different were the target audience, QR code, celebrity endorsement, etc. After we had completed this we went on to planning and drafting ideas for our own advert based of a music festival that would be held in Crewe. At the bottom of the advert, my idea is to a have a section in the shape of a wave, triple wave, a lightning bolt and a moon on its side. There will be one of these on each advert and they will contain information about the festival, which will be when it is, where it will be, including address, and how much it will cost. For the background I planned to have concert crowds with the stage in front of them, so that the viewer of the advert will be able to see the stage.
