The Swedish culture and menatality is said to be very different from other countries. I can agree in some points, and disagree in other points. English people thinks people in Sweden, are unsocial comparing to them for example. I think this is wrong. Sweden, and the Swedish cities are much smaller comparing to England. People in Sweden do of course talk to each other when they eat dinner, but that is not what the Englishmen thinks about us. They say that Swedish families, sit together, eating dinner, totally quiet. Of course i do talk to my family during dinner! Onee thing, i do agree on, is that Swedish people are very polite, allthough i do not think it is a bad thing. People in Sweden do often thank each other for their thankings! It may be strange for people who are not Swedish. English people are said to be one of the most polite ones in the world, and they think we''''re ”too” polite, So i think that says everything. Another thing which is different in the Swedish culture, is how people mix with each others. Many people in Sweden likes to invite their friends to their homes, and they often like to show off, by buying expensive houses with expensive furnitures. I think Swedish people likes to show off with their clothes allso. Its not either unusual that people in Sweden gets drunk by purpose, just because they think they are more social and funny when they are drunk. People in England likes going to the pub, they usually do it many times a week. And they go to the pub with their friends just for ”taking a beer” and maby watch some sports, which is a quite important thing in England. They dont really invite each others to their homes very often, therefor English people usually don''''t have very fancy homes, allthough they have a reputation as snobbish people. From what i have seen, i don''''t either think English people care that much
