If you were to ask a person whether they would choose living in a city or living in the country, you would rarely get a quick answer. Many people would have to stop and weigh all the advantages and the disadvantages before they could give you a solid answer with supporting statements. It just goes to show you, that living in a city or in the country comes with a wide variety of differences. One of the big differences between living in the city and the country would be transportation. When you live the city, there is always public transportation for people to get around. You can easily catch or call a taxi, ride the local bus, the subway, etc. So, if a person in the city doesn’t have the money to buy a car, they can still find a way to make it to work or get around to do daily errands. The public transportation system also gives teenagers a way to hangout with friends, and find things to do in or around town. However, in the country you are less likely to have public transportation. Without available public transportation, people must always have a reliable car to get around. Teenagers in the country are more likely to become bored and get into negative things because they can’t find a positive variety of activities to do in town. Social interaction also comes into play when considering moving into the country or the city. While in the country, the number of available men and women is lowered due to a smaller population. Seeing the same people in town over and over can become tiresome and eventually agitating when everyone knows everyone’s business. In a city, the number of available men and women rises, and increases an individual’s probability of seeing a new and fresh face everyday. Those new and fresh faces can turn into interesting relationships, that eventually broaden one’s social outlook on life. The job market would also be a very crucial
