In relation to other companies, her company is a small one and therefore does not have specific contract administrators. The people in the company’s ‘home office’ all do multiple jobs and hold multiple job responsibilities and their primary focus is not the contracts that are basically kept similar for everything. In the case of Othello’s company developing a contract administration plan has taken his company to the next level. The last course he took was human capital management and ironically this was the major issue his company was dealing with. Many of the employees at the company are independent contractors who have their own companies.
Make sure you know which language a person is comfortable communicating with, a written translation or interpreter may be required especially in serious discussions or communication. You should always use a professional interpreter where possible as it is not always appropriate to use a friend or family member in private matters. Interpreters can be sought through Adult services or the police. You should try and learn essential words in their language or use flashcards to help. Non-verbal communication can help but be careful when using hand gestures as they may be the same in a lot of cultures but may be very offensive in another always research.
But in Henderson printing, there is no compensation system and the owner of the company takes all decision based on its mood and his attachment to the employee. The third criteria is "attract and retain qualified individuals" (Long, 2013, p.12). It specifies that the individual's attribute to perform the required task must be in the company. In Henderson Printing, the employee or workers were working in the company and they were happy with the company, but they were not possessing the attributes to perform their work task and most of the production, customer satisfaction and marketing was handled by owner itself. The fourth criteria is "promote desired employee behavior" (Long, 2013, p.12).
Barriers come in many forms, such as when key persons are doing observations and planning. The parents may lack in confidence to give any suggestions or feel that their contribution isn’t worth making at all; they may also not want to get involved in this. However practitioner should let the parents of the child take charge on the suggestion making, instead of the practitioners taking charge. This allows the parents to feel valued and respect being given such an important role, building the parents confidence as their suggestions have be taken into
I have practiced talking and really getting to know people so I don’t just assign them to a category. An adjustment I have made concerning overattribution is trying not to let sympathy take over how I perceive others behaviors. When talking to a person who has been though hardships in life I don’t let myself attribute their bad behavior or drug use to that. I instead think that it is their choice to behave in that way and it is their choice to ruin their life with drugs. And again with the only child scenario.
Exercise 1.1 Specific ways I need to change to be a more helpful person is to always look for the other person first and not just for myself. I have a tendency to put myself first instead of others and I really need to work on this quality. I have great listening skills and make eye contact but I don’t move around when I talk so I feel that would make me a more helpful person also because they would not be bored. Exercise 1.2 If I saw a professional with these labels I would think great they were except for the shrink because might make you think down on yourself instead of there to help you with your problems. These people are all very special and help to provide help in so many ways to help to get a job, a home, medical assistance, to just help with everyday living.
This is usually as a result of the client needing to gain more from their sessions rather than continually going over the same issues. Failure to recognise any of these issues can lead to a breakdown in the communicating process and often set the client back to where they started. The client needs to feel valued and listened to. To miss the signs being sent could have major effects on the client. Should a session stop proceeding forward and the client become silent, this would be a good place to find out exactly how they are feeling, and
Occasionally, despite a counselor’s best efforts, some clients fail to act in their best interests and negatively respond to all counseling interventions. These clients are often called oppositional, reactionary, noncompliant, intractable, and unmotivated (Dowd, 1989). You can not make someone tell you something they do not want to. Forcing an issue or trying to push a client into telling you something will only make them want to be more reluctant from sharing. Being understanding, empathic, and listening to the client helps build the relationship and give the client the opportunity to want to trust you enough to tell you what you need to know.
It is very important for children to have good mental and physical well being if a child is painfully shy and see others forming friendships- they may become distracted in lesson times due to the worry of not making friends. Ensuring a child is physically well is also important a child’s diet can effect how they perform in the class room, ensuring exercise is implemented to promote healthy living is important. If a child is over weight for example, this will possibly affect confidence and may under achieve due to worrying about their weight and possibly being
Different people prefer different styles of learning. I think both learning by myself and learning with a teacher could be helpful. Learning with a teacher can prevent one from being confused and increase the rate and speed of learning. Another important point is that for practical subjects you have to have a teacher. On the other hand, sometimes I would rather learning on my own.
