Dear Aldyn Royce, I am writing this letter to inform you of the past and current situations I have experienced working for Costco Wholesale at warehouse 366. First let me start by giving you a bit of background information on my self, I am a 10 year employee and I have enjoyed working for Costco , up until the last 5 years since I relocated to Buford, Georgia. I have been fighting to stay positive with my current warehouse hoping that if given ample time things would change and get better. To my dismay, things have only taken a turn for the worse. I will give you a few examples of situations that have gone unnoticed and have not been taken in a serious matter. Situation 1 I moved to Georgia in the year 2006, when the warehouse for Buford Georgia first opened, because the warehouse was not ready to open just yet when I first moved here, for two weeks the new transfers from out of state were sent to do marketing. I was sent to Gainesville, Georgia to market to all the businesses, doctors’ offices, and local restaurants in the area, we were sent out in groups of three to let the all the companies know that Costco would be opening in Buford soon. I quickly found out that Gainesville was a city of an older generation that did not care for change; I was told by almost every business I entered that I was not welcome in their place of business and that I would have to wait outside of the building. I am fully aware of how this letters may sound, but I can only tell of my personal experience with the truth. I enjoy my job and love what I do; I would simply like to be treated base on my work ethics alone and nothing else. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter.
