Computers Changing the World The introduction of computers in 1941 revolutionized the way we lived in the 20th century because they make all of the everyday tasks a lot easier. Konrad Zuse, Adam Osborne, and Howard H. Aiken were the creators of the first electronically and programmable computer, they are one of the great inventors that helped enhance the way we lived in the 20th century, and potentially revolutionized the world from the 20th century and following years after. Computers have been a big factor on how we live today, they help defend our freedom. They make everyday tasks such as simple and complex math a piece of cake, they are also a big contributor to our transportation, in the manufacturing and also in the engineering of vehicles like cars, buses etc. Transportation is one of the necessities of life in America and in the world today and then because we need money to live, and to get money we need to go to work, and to go to work we need transportation. Computers are also a big invention that helped the entertainment industry kick off, with video games, and animated movies. Due to constant changes to computers, they have gotten smaller and smaller over there years, to the point where you can fit one in your pocket. A computer is a device that can do mathematical equations without the use of your own brain; this means that computers have been around since ancient times, when the abacus was invented. The first computer that used electricity was introduced in 1941, by a German inventor named Konrad Zuse, Zuse created the Z3, which was destroyed by WWII bombings. Zuse's Z3 computer was a calculating machine, and many other computers like this, the ENIAC, and Mark 1, were bulky and weighed around thirty tons.
