I am doing my paper on Jeffrey Dahmer. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 21, 1960 to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. His father was an analytical chemist. He had a brother that was 7 years younger than him named David. Some people say that his childhood was normal up until he had a hernia surgery at the age of 6 and some say that is when he started to become distant and withdrawn from everything.
Just like my uncle and my dad’s cousin. My love with the military started at a very young age where I was in love with playing with toy soldiers and then later video games made the love grow even more. But one day in 8th grade I was called into the counselor’s office and when I was about to leave I saw a brochure about the Miami Senior High JROTC Battalion. I took one and I went home that day and looked up information about the JROTC program. I loved every detail about it so that’s what I choose when I was picking my electives for my first year of high school.
I was a huge jock in high school and it has taught me to be a team player and a leader in my life. Right now I do not have a job. I was laid off by my last employer and I felt that it was a sign that I should go back to school again and get that all important degree. I’m going to get my associates first then I’m going to get my bachelors. I have been in the retail business my whole professional career and felt that a business degree would help me achieve my goals.
Communication Process Model Dean Myers XBCOM/275 November 30, 2014 Andrew Trippi Communication Process Model The worst communication error I have experienced was a special project for a distribution center I was put in charge of at a last minute detail. Before reading and understanding the project I was designated too doing I was instructed by the GM (general manager) on Thursday to order several hundred corrugated boxes to tear down several item numbers of Crayola crayons to combine them in a different custom package making a special variety package for a specific customer and was a weekend project consisting of 25 employees. I had Saturday and Sunday eight hours each day to complete the full truckload and have it delivered on Monday. The request
I am reminded of the time I freaked myself out about an interview I had for my very first job. I asked my dad for his advice and he told me to Google interview questions and come up with the best possible responses to have for the interview. I can remember sitting in my room staring at the questions in dis belief. The question was, what is your greatest accomplishment and why? I had an answer, but I struggled terribly with putting it down on paper because I wanted this interview to “be perfect”.
Eventually, he got frustrated with Jobs’s management with the Macintosh division because of the sluggish sales. Scully and Apple’s board stripped Jobs of all power in May of 1985. In September of that year, Jobs resigned (Isaacson 41). While he was gone, Jobs founded a new computer company, NeXT, and it was very Jobs-like. It was a sleek black cube packed with innovations.
The last example is computers and Malcolm X are programmed a certain way. Computers are programmed so that they are able to function. Malcolm was programmed by his parents to be religious. Malcolm’s dad was a minister and passed that example down for his son to follow. As you can see, computers and Malcolm X are alike in many
Her husband is a pharmacist and she was a teacher at the local university. Her son was a typical normal boy who loved to study and wanted to become a doctor. but then the war started to play a role into his life. In a matter of months he traded in his text books for an AK 47 and the knowledge on how to build a bomb, and America thinks there doing it for the good of the
My career as a Radiologic Technician Choosing my career field was not that easy; it was like deciding my future responsibilities, purposes, and life. When I first came to the United States I researched about many medical fields, since everyone advised me that it is the best and most guaranteed careers in the USA, but being a radiologist was on the top of my choices long time ago. The first time I realized that I am really interested in this career was when I saw my little brother’s teeth X-ray images. I was going over and over through these images analyzing and explaining what is inside it. I felt that it is amazing how some x-rays can go inside your body and tell exactly what is happening inside.
When I took my placement test I was shocked at the result that I had master them, I was in fear that I didn’t do well, I knew that I had forgotten a lot of information and that lot stayed in my head. I had to take several remedial courses, considering my education background. I attended southwest community college and master a certificate in computer software specialist in the year of 2005-2007, and I felted very proud of myself, so I decided to take it a step further and go for an associated degree in business so that why I am here a Ashford University. I get a lot of guidance from my children, especially my daughter she is in college and she encourage me a lot, at times when I want to give up she keeps me going saying little phrases like( mom you can do it, you are never to old) the love I have for that child. I challenge with training myself to be more tactful in completing my assignment on time and studying to make good grades on quizzes and test, these were my main challenge in trying to going readjust to returning back to
