Over time I was able to see the positive the effects these sessions had on the children and their families. Conducting these sessions has taught me the importance of incorporating the foster parents. I was able to help the parents implement techniques and strategies that resulted positive behavior changes in the children. I have never been more ready or eager to take the next step in my journey and begin my studies in mental health counseling. I believe this program will lead me to a fulfilling career, which will be rewarding in terms of the help I will provide to others.

The results I hope to gain from this proposal are my friends and family giving it a try and hopefully staying with it. Knowing I was able to make exercise plan that kept them motivated is the best results I can hope for. This is intrinsic motivation for me, doing a job and feeling good about me once it is completed. Making each of them their own chart that has a schedule with what they should be doing throughout the week and having their weight written in it at the beginning and then writing their weight at the end of each week so they are able to see what process they have made should be motivating to them, they will see the results of their hard work at the end of the week. When we first meet someone, whether it be a hello, wave or smile, communication has started and we have already begun to build a relationship. Positive communication is important in all aspects of life and if it isn’t grasped at an early age then it could lead to various difficulties in terms of interacting with other people. Communication is vital in building that positive relationship needed for trust and respect, something that is very much needed when working with children, young adults and their parents.

This essay explores the bond my husband and I share and how being a securely attached couple contributes to our current marital happiness, focusing on four important abilities essential for intimacy; having the ability to seek out care, be able to give care, have the capability of feeling comfortable with an independent self and having the capacity to negotiate.
